Clean Place and cheap
Located at jonker street, walking distance to makhota parade, dataran pahlawan,A famosa. The cleaniliness of the place was good, the bath towel also clean.Size of the room also OK. Near to toilet area got place to chill, you may eat there also. Dont worry, you need to go through one door before entering toilet area. You may find iron and ironboard, water dispenser and others basic use such as plate, spoon and fork. Value for maney :)

Stayed 2 nights, 18 April 2014 - 20 April 2014 It was a very last minute decision to visit Malacca on a long weekend, and Motel Sayang Sayang was one of the few choices left for accommodation. I made this booking 2 days before the trip and helped a friend made another booking just one day before the trip. We were lucky, in fact, very lucky to have found this little motel by chance on such short notice. The price we paid for is relatively cheap, although there might be places with better deals, we were contented with our stay here considering everything is just a few minutes walk away. First, checking in was a breeze. We arrived before check in time and the room allocated to us is not ready yet, but they let us have the key first so we can proceed for lunch. We were told that our room will be ready by the time we come back. Entrance to the motel was access card controlled. First time I came across this added level of security in a motel/guesthouse. The public carpark is just in front of the motel. There's another one across the road, so car is always near. Don't have to walk far with bags/luggage! Our room is a double room and comes with attached bathroom, on the 2nd floor. I assume all rooms on the 2nd floor are with attached bathroom as the toilets in the common area are not fixed with showers, unlike the ones on the 1st floor. The room is just big enough for you to turn your body. Not a problem for us, as it will be used only for sleeping. Most importantly, the room is clean, the bathroom is clean, and the shared toilet is clean as well. The water heater worked well, and water pressure was good. Our room have got a bigger window compared to our friend's room next door. Don't depend on the curtains to block any sunlight. If you are the type who likes to sleep in, please bring a sleep mask to cover your eyes (I was glad I bought one in jonker street). Pillow cases are a little stained, so we used a t-shirt as our instant pillow case. One of the towels also have stain, but I felt that it's clean to use (because I forgot to bring my own), as I saw the laundrette delivering fresh towels while we were checking in. Aircon worked fine - the tiny room get cooled down pretty easily anyway. There's totally no wifi reception on the 2nd floor. Wifi reception is only available on 1st floor, with stronger signals at the living area where there's a computer for public use. Hot & cold water dispenser is also available on the 1st floor, and I caught a glimpse of a toaster. But that's about all. Overall, it was a good stay. Like I say, don't expect a hotel experience when you are paying for a motel/guesthouse. I'm happy with what Motel Sayang Sayang has to offer. The location kind of makes up for every other shortcomings. It's just great to be able to drop by back at the motel for a quick shower in the middle of a hot & humid day, before continuing our walk around jonker. Sorry, no photos to upload, as I felt the photos found in here are exactly like what we saw.

depends on your choice..
The location is great, just locate end of the jonker street which near to the Cheng Hoong Teng Temple, around 3 minutes walk can reach jonker street. Room is clean, free wifi and entry is by card touching system at main door (consider secure). I have booked for a double bed room with air-conditioner, but the space is so limited, the bed is small too, seems like smaller then queen size bed (have to squeeze and can feel the spring below bedsheet), and there is only dustbin, 3 layer small cabinet and a table lamp, "attached bathroom", what we expect is have toilet bowl with shower, but what we saw is just a tiny sink and shower, public toilet at outside room for sharing, inconvenient, no much different with room without bathroom attached. No soundproof, very noisy, you can clearly hear the sound from outside (jonker market have performance on weekend till mid night) or even have people talking at walkway or close door, irritating. Staff is not very caring, we facing a problem on the parking. When we reached, we are parking in front the motel carpark, which charge us RM3, and staff did told us that only paid 1 time, but night time we are drive out for dinner, when we back, there is no more space for us in the previous parking lot, the people there direct us to park at the next parking lot, and we have to pay another RM3, then we just know that parking lot is belong to other owner, then nevermind, is ok. but the next day when we want to go back, another man was came to collect another RM3, he said different day different charging. SO angry when heard that, there is no signboard or even no people telling us that the charging is this kind. The motel staff should inform us the parking is such kind, then we will aware of this, we are innocent on this problem, just have to pay the money unwillingly to the people, is like getting cheated. Staff have to be social and caring on the customers' problem that may facing, be notice and inform, that will be added a point. With the money paid for this room, is not so worth, we can even get a better room in other guest house. If you able to accept small room, noisy environment, sharing toilet, then this place still can be acceptable since the location is great which near to jonker street and other attraction.

Great location
But thats it. Room was smaller than most we have stayed, tiny window was just enough. Clean but shared washroom and toliet... Internet in common area was ok, we stayed during a very busy holiday and the location made it a good pick. The value could have been better, we saw other places that were less expensive and perhaps nicer rooms

Cheap & Clean! :)
I've been there for my first backpacking experienced to Melaka~ Overall this motel were perfect for the backpackers because the motel offers many types of room although it only offers the basic need for traveller. i stayed at standard room attached with bathroom. the motel also have a common corner with sofa+magazine+computer with internet. best of all, it was CLEAN! :) the location were just perfect because it's near to jonker walk, melaka town and it was easier for me to travel around the town by foot~ :)
