Best and new experience for my kids..
Nice location within the forest...
Good, nice environment, can take boat to reach hotel, back to natural.
friendly and helpful staff, great location, very close to nature. the original price is actually quite pricey, but i've got a great deal, so I think its worth the price I pay
It's an awesome place to go, a very beautiful place.

Great Location
Great location abutting on to the national park and an extensive trail system. Nice wooden chalets, some are in better shape than others. We extended our stay 2 extra days because we liked the hiking and relaxing atmosphere so much. Pros: 1. Very helpful staff (couple of maintenance issues done within 30 minutes of arrival) 2. Nice restaurant with good food at fair prices. We could have eaten at restaurants in the village across the river but chose not to. 3. Several very good hiking trails start right at the resort. One trail, within 2 minutes, leads to a blind where we saw wild pigs. 4. Best guided hike was the night hike (very informative guide). Cons: 1. Canopy walk has been shortened and is a continous walk. You are told not to stop. The reality is that you don't see much. 2. The visit to an asli village was ultimately disappointing and disturbing. At one point 7 boats had arrived and tourists were scurrying every which way. Shelters had been set us and we were briefed on this group's way of life and given a demo on fire making and using a blowgun. But it wasn't the asli who were describing their way of life it was our guides and a couple of asli teenagers were the "assistants". It felt like exploitation of the asli by the area's resorts.

Just remember this is the jungle!
Loved it here, but five star luxury it is not. The rooms are more than adequate, a little tired perhaps but they are wooden chalets after all. They were clean and quiet, but the location is awesome. If doing hire drive, make sure you're certain that you have the Sat Nav set correctly. You need the location of the crossing point, not the hotel. And watch out for the monkeys! The roof top canopy walk is great - a must-do, but the real joy is just wandering around the astonishing scenery. Dress appropriately - it'll probably rain at some point and the humidity is intense. But it's a place you'll talk about for years to come.

Chalet in the National Park
Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. The staff at the concierge and local tour guides are very friendly. We bought the Mutiara Taman Negara travel packages at RM250/person which inclusive of 3d2n room stay with breakfast (2 persons/room), night trekking and jungle trekking (Bukit Terisek and Canopy Walk). We topped up RM100/person for rapid shooting and orang asli village visit, and RM200/boat for Lata Berkoh trip (to see a 400 years old huge tree and Mahseer fish and visiting Lata Berkoh). (Prices shown as at October 2017) Surrounded by greenery, a very good place to stay if you want a quiet, relax and peaceful vacation.

The Jungle
I don't really understand many of the negative reviews on here... They know they are going into the jungle right? It's also 3*s, they are not claiming to be 4 or 5. We arrived to a very friendly welcome and a much needed glass of juice and cold towel. We very much enjoyed our stay here and thought the chalets were lovely! Breakfast had a good selection and the restaurant was fine too. We booked our activities when we arrived - The night jungle walk and The canopy walk & Bukit Teriset. Or guide was fantastic on the night walk pointing out spiders, giant ants, a giant millipede, scorpions and a snake. He was great to talk to as well, he had some good stories. He also told us when to go to the hide to spot wild boar and we did :) Although you can do the canopy walk and hike up to Bukit Teriset independently, I would recommend the trip with the guide. They point out so much you would miss and tell you all about the plant life and what it can be used for. Fascinating. A great jungle experience :)

Best place to stay
We stayed here for 2 nights back in August so paid £100 per night which was expensive but I would still stay here again. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely and spacious. The location was amazing and you can walk straight to the walking trails from the bungalows. The food was lovely but is predominantly western. Be prepared for the humidity of the jungle when trekking!!
