The room is spacious and clean. The property is really close to nearby malls and restaurant. The location however, is somewhat difficult to find and rather not too "family oriented".
There is no proper car park for guest. The room is refurbished but not the lifts and front desk. Overall it's fine
Great location, near food stall
Air conditioner doesn't working well
Hotel is located in a strategic place where there are so many food shops and stalls. Shopping malls are within walking distance. Hotel room is big but not so clean when we checked in. If you have someone on a wheelchair would be a problem. The hotel don't have elevator untill you're at the reception that is on the upper floor but the hotel staff are always there to give a helping hand. Other than that all are ok.
The hotel is very old and not well kept. The bathroom was leaking and sink was clogged. Noisy at night. Not recommended. Pictures displayed on website was different from reality. Disappointed.

The room is big and near to the CIQ
The room was too small and uncleaned. only location was good.
Just nice... Smooth checked in. Stayed for 2 nights and NO housekeeping done. Near to JBCC/CIQ/KOMTAR.

Worst ever
This is the worst hotel ive ever visited. The room is so dirty, stinky, dusty, smelly. The water heater didn't work at all. The ambience is just so poor. The lift is terrible, it smell like pee. This hotel is not recommended at all, especially for family. You will find better hotels nearby alao with good price. Your room would not be cleaned if u dont ask the staff. The only good thing about this hotel is the area. Only few meters to Johor Bahru City Center, Johor Bahru City Square. And you will find lots of local food nearby. 7eleven is also nearby.

Choose This Hotel At Your Own Risk
Chose this hotel as it seemed decent. HOWEVER, photos were misleading-Hotel was way more run-down & dirtier than shown. Some work has been done to revamp the hotel but one can still see the tattered condition. The renovation was shoddy & poorly planned. E.g. Toilet had no shower curtain & its floor was constantly wet due to a dripping aircon pipe situated in the middle of the toilet with no drainage nearby. Toilet floor was grimy & bathroom fittings were rusty. Free toiletries were basically a toothbrush & soap dispenser. Lift lobby & corridor smelled damp, carpet looked worn out. ATROCIOUS HYGIENE STANDARDS-Passed by the chambermaid's room & saw fresh towels being stacked openly on a table against the wall of a filthy storeroom; some were on the dirty carpet floor. Also saw the cleaner placing fresh hotel towels directly on top of a pail of cleaning agents as he went from room to room to clean. Room TV can't be switched on once lights are switched off. A useless table lamp with a broken plug was provided. Aircon compressor rumbled intermittently throughout the night. Hotel was still undergoing renovations, we got woken up by hacking sounds at 8.40am. Staff doesn't provide wifi information. Don't expect luggage safekeeping service-Staff will tell you that you can leave them at the open reception area but they won't be responsible for any loss. After I checked in, I found out that this hotel doesn't even have any star rating at all on several booking websites.

Just awful...
We chose this hotel as we liked the photos that we saw on hotel.com and because it was central to everything. Staff were reasonably friendly. The elevator was dodgy as it had wood planeling inside of it. Reception area was not clean. Had cardboard on floor; I think there was renovations going on at the time. The room was big which was a plus for us; however as soon as we walked in we noticed alot of flaws. The walls were dirty, electrical wires hanging out of walls (not connected to anything), no fridge, no light switch near bed and cigarette burns in doona cover. Not only our room was unclean I felt that the whole hotel was quite unclean; walls etc. To me it looked like the hotel needs to be refurbished. We thought we would pay a little more for location however we were highly disappointed when we walked into our room. Wifi was week and did not work at times. Staff did not clean rooms unless we asked. Very noisy at night time; fireworks, loud music and loud bangs up until 3am. We all hardly got any sleep during our stay. Advice to hotel managers: paint the walls in the rooms and hallways and it will be a gorgeous hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Looks are deceiving
The saying, 'don't judge a book by it's cover' absolutely applies to this place. If you like the pictures you see, you ain't going to like it at all. We paid for a triple bed room. I came here with my husband and child for a night because our place was experiencing a power failure. Thinking it was at least a half decent place with its pictures, we almost walked out the moment we saw the room (granted it was 2.30am and have paid for the place, we stayed). The ceiling was leaking, a puddle of water stood in the middle of the room the moment we walked in. The aircon pipes leaked, wallpaper tearing off, holes in the ceiling and cupboard. There isn't any toilet paper, nor fridge, nor safe. Considering the condition of the room, I wasn't so keen on climbing into the bed with my child. At 8.30am, there were loud drillings and hammering, we weren't sure where it was coming from. But it woke us all up, we packed up, checked out and left. I'll never return to this place, ever.

Worse hotel ever!
I have chosen this hotel because of the location. But i am really in shock when i reached the hotel. At the same price i can get a hotel that is so much better than this! I am speechless when i check in the hotel, I cant even stay there. Immediately i cancel the room and change to another hotel. look at the photos
