Simple and cheap, great for a nights stay.
9.7
The hotel was good and comfortable. My towel have unpleasant smell maybe because of the detergent they use. The another towel was good.
8.5
With the price and budget what can you expect more! Location is good! Just the receptionist is not too friendly!
8.5
Good room with comfortable bed. But front room with window quite noisy as the room facing the road. Easy to buy food with multiple choices at the nearby food court.
10.0
A nice place to stay. they clean my room everyday. highly recommended.
5.5
No hotel parking provided. When ask to reception, they only answered "we also pay for ourselves," with impolite faces. We got few summons because I was sick and not even remember to renew the coupon on the next day. The summons are more expensive than the coupon itself.
8.5
It was good for a short trip alone.
8.5
Budget hotel with comfortable bed and strategic location.
9.7
Helpful staff. Comfortable stay. Not far from airport. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

Strategic location, simple, value for money
The company I work for booked my stay here for 3 weeks. I didn't expect much initially since I won't be staying in most of the day. But the place ain't really that bad. The room - queen-sized bed, tv, airconditioner, small desk, the space is quite small but I didn't mind since I stayed there alone, 2 bottles of water (they provide water dispenser at each floor so do bring your own mug/container). And the wifi speed is great, bonus point! I was just a bit disappointed I got the room with no window bc I easily lost track of time. Location - 5 stars! They have lots of good places to eat around here (including halal eateries), you don't have to walk far. There are also two supermarkets, a bowling place, bakeries etc less than 10-minute walk from the inn. Oh and for those who enjoy walking as much as I do, the malls (The Spring and Vivacity) are just 20 minutes away, or you can just take a Grab car it'll only cost you around RM4-6. Service - The people here are friendly, they'll guide you whenever you need help or you can simply have a chat about anything under the sun. Housekeeping is efficient, they managed to clean my room even when I was only out for like an hour. Will recommend this for those who are looking for basic, cheap stay. It's totally worth it, I promise! :D

Value for money for overnights near Kuching airport
If you happened to transit for an early morning flight the next day, but don't want to spent the money at the huge Century Hotel (formally 4points Sheraton hotel), the One Point Hotel is a good start. It's at the commercial block directly opposite Century Hotel, facing the overhead highway to the airport, and saddling the food court in the middle. There are two receptions counters, one to the left of the food court, and the other to the right. The right one is newer and has a lift, but the rooms are similar. The single rooms are basic, a cubical, clean, with aircon, TV and attached toilet. Bed is large enough for two persons. Some has windows, some not. Water is provided, and refill is outside on the corridor. Food is just downstairs with lots of stores to choose from. A small provision shop is next door. Window shopping around the complete commercial area is a half kilometer walk, plenty of restaurants and bars to walk into. Taxi is 5 minutes to the airport. There is a taxi parking stand about 50 metres away facing the Century Hotel. Reception is friendly and check in is straightforward with pre-payment. The night shift guy (probably an uni student) is un-communicative, but can live with it.

Simple room, nothing more
The room is fairly simple - beds, small tv, an attached bathroom and a small table with mirror. I stayed there with my family for 2 nights and it's really...nothing fancy. The hotel or rather motel is next to a food court which is great though. The beds were made on time before the next day entering into the motel which is good. There's also a shared hot/cold water purifier system outside our room which is a plus point. All in all it's just a place to sleep for the nights, again, nothing fancy.

Checks all basic necessities, VERY attentive cleaning staff
I'll tell you straight up this is gonna be a biased review. But please, do continue reading. I booked this place in a hurry the night before, for 3 nights on the single queen-sized room at RM69/night which is not a bad price at all, methinks. My "business trip" was 5 minutes walking distance from One Point Hotel. So yeah, a biased five stars for location from me. Seriously though, plenty of convenience stores and food places here (both restaurants and hawker food courts, for halal eateries just a handful unfortunately). Admittedly, facilities are bare-bones; drinking water bottles are provided daily but not coffee/tea/mugs. There is however a cold/hot water dispenser on each floor and I was prepared since I'd brought my own coffee and thermos mug (thanks reviewer X). The provided wifi was really fast, probably due to one of the routers (they have several) being directly outside and above my doorway. The small table was good enough for some late night work, and the mirror! Oh I loved the setup of that mirror. By now you're probably thinking I'm a weirdo and what kind of El Cheapo company sends their staff to a budget hotel anyways? OK well actually my "business trip" was a presentation interview and I got the job thanks to many factors including the mirror. I'm totally writing this review with a stupid big grin on my face. Please don't be pissed off. Read the rest of this review it'll be worth it I promise. So yes, I'm giving One Point Hotel a biased 5 stars for its strategic location, its fantastic mirror setup, its tiny yet oh-so-functional table, fast wifi, and attentive staff. Okay in all seriousness I am serious about the cleaning staff. I don't know how, but no matter what time in the day (9am, 12pm, etc.) I left the hotel, whenever I came back the room would be all cleaned up. One of those times, I wasn't even gone for an hour! Very impressed, to say the least. To summarize, even if there wasn't such biased circumstances, I would still give this place at least 4 stars. Clean, compact, helpful staff, and with all the basic necessities. Definitely bang for buck.
