The place actually have a good location. Near to Bukit Bintang monorail stasion and Go KL blue line, purple line, and green line bus stop. But when I visited it, there was MRT construction along the way which caused the side road was covered and could not be seen from afar. The receptionist was much better than I expected (read review from previous traveller). I booked a female dome room but ended up having that room for my self, lucky me. I booked my room including breakfast but unfortunately there is no more free breakfast (need to pay 5 RM). Near to Alor street, Pavilion Mall, Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat Mall.

Nice staff and great location. But very dirty.”
Room is very small and stuffy, with dirty old carpet and fungus in walls. No ventilation at all. - Air Con which can't be adjusted (no remote controller). When it's on, it's cold. When it's off, no air at all inside room because the room has no windows. - The carpet is dirty. The cupboard is dirty and dusty. Nice, friendly staffs. - Hot water. - Centralized Location (walking distance to Bukit Bintang monorail and Go KL Free bus stop).

You get what you pay for...
Location and price. That's what this place has going for it. I only stayed here because the nicer Bed and Breakfast a few doors down above Macdonalds was fully booked for the next few days. I paid 30 MYR to stay in an 8 bed dorm. The signs everywhere said to lock up your belongings and I took them at their word. They gave me a key to the dorm room but it was never locked, and it didn't matter because all you had to do was push on the door and it would open even if it was locked. In the first 10 minutes I was there I was sitting in the indoor/outdoor common area (not quite as nice as pictured) and a local woman tried to start a conversation with me. After a minute of talking I got up to go to my dorm and she wanted to know if I wanted a "massage". I saw many men following the ladies upstairs for "massages". OK, this didn't bother me so much because it goes on everywhere in KL. I just didn't like having to push past the constant offers from the ladies hanging out in front of the entrance in the evenings. The vibe here is kinda creepy and in general it doesn't feel like they clean often (or ever). The bathrooms and showers were pretty gross too. In the end I saved about 7 MYR a day compared to the place a few doors down. But unless you are desperate or count every cent you have I don't think it was worth it.

Good location, perfect for backpackers
This is the second time I stay in Paradiso but the first time I stay in the dorm. I think it has a very good location and good price, 30rm/night for a 8 bed dorm. It's located very near the Jalan Alor street were you can find loads of different kind of food and fruits. You also have walking distance to Petronas twin towers, KLCC park and the aquarium. The monorail is just a 2 min walk away. There are loads of shopping malls around, Lot 10, Sungwei, Farenheit and Pavilion and more. If you want a cheap place with very good location this is it!

You get what you pay for but good location
-Room is smelly. Carpet smell I think. -Stayed there for 7 nights and witnessed how they didn't change the sheets for new guests. -Pretty good WIFI connection -The toilet and shower is decent. (see photos) -No laundry and ironing nor hair blower. -Don't try to eat at their 1st floor common area if you don't smoke. -The place is quite hard to find as there is ongoing subway construction but I think its location is one of its strengths. Very close to KFC, MCDO, BUKIT BINTANG, and BUS STOP for the FREE GO KL Buses going to Petronas Towers/KLCC (Green Line) and Chinatown/Central Market (Purple Line),

Damp, dirty, overpriced
I booked this place in a hurry believing that it couldn't really be all that bad. It had some good reviews as well as some bad, after all. How wrong could I be? Upon arrival I was shown my room which had no windows and smelled of damp. It looked more like the kind of place people pay for by the hour - and given some of the establishments near to the hotel, I wouldn't be surprised if they had this arrangement. The carpets were not clean, the bedsheets had old stains on them, though they seemed laundered. I slept on top of them under my travel towel. The bathroom was pretty rank and to top it all off the water stopped halfway through my shower. It was like something out of one of those cliched Channel 5 documentaries about horror hotels and terrible travel experiences. The next day it became clear that nobody was cleaning the place... the man on the desk explained that their cleaner had gone on strike. Perfect. I'm not a prima donna about hotels. I don't care too much and I don't mind hostels - but this place was just rank. The wifi was flaky and only worked at night - if you were lucky. The place was pretty noisy. I didn't try the breakfast. I stayed two nights there before moving to another hostel. I had a booking for a couple more nights a week later before flying out of KL. I negotiated for a refund on those. The receptionist had to get the owner on the phone and he eventually agreed to a partial refund. This is despite the cleanliness, lack of hot water and god knows what else. I just wanted to get out so that was that. Obviously, almost a year later I'm still waiting for my refund... It wasn't even that cheap when compared to the hotel I ended up staying in which was at least clean!!! Anyone who gives this place an "Excellent" review has to be fake or out of their mind. Don't stay here, there are tons of budget hotels and hostels in KL that are genuine. Just not this one.
