Sultan Abdul Samad Building – Located at Jalan Raja which is about ten minutes or less if you are driving from the hotel, it is a ninetieth-century building built in 1897 with a distinctive Moorish-style architecture that is different from other buildings nearby. With the design being done by AC Norman, it has such a long and rich history, originally served as the secretariat for the British colonial administration before housing the country’s superior courts before they were moved to Putrajaya. Presently owned by Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia, it no longer has an official purpose like it used to be, but it remained as a significant historical landmark till this day.
