The hotel is comfortable, staffs are nice, clean hotel and near to everywhere
Location is easy to find but there is no signage showing to this place. Need to call first and then you’ll know its exactly in the chocolate museum next to red garden restaurant but there is so many bed bugs at my bed and at night it was so loud due to people singing and party nearby. And me and my family can't sleep well because we’ve been itchy and scratching ourself through out the night. But great service by the front line. Nice toilet and shower room very clean but please improve with your room and bed condition.
- Backpacking
Very good service provided, the bed is like a 4 star hotel bed

Great, tip top and nice. I will come again next time
- Family vacation
First, this is not a hotel, it is a homestay as they told me. Second, the hotel location is very bad. You have to enter through another facility to reach the hotel - it does not have an independent entrance. Third, they asked me to pay one tax (Rm 2), in spite of including all the taxes in my booking as you mentioned. Fourth, the room was not clean, you can see a lot of hair in the bed and dust on the furniture. Fifth, they do not provide anything inside the room i.e. kettle, refrigerator (which damages all my baby food), towels, hand wash soap, tea, and water bottles. Sixth, which made me lose my mind, they do not have WiFi inside the room, so no internet. Seventh, breakfast was very bad, they provided nothing.
- Backpacking
It was an interesting experience. Nice services. Very helpful receptionist.

Good Location. Basic Amenities
Selected this hotel for a short stay with my spouse; mainly for its strategic location. Our primary plan was to explore the nearby places of interest, especially the areas around Leith Street, Penang Road and Chowrasta Market, which are within walking distances. Also, plenty of hawker food stalls. The hotel is converted from a pre-war bungalow, with access beside the adjoining Chocolate Boutique (a tourist shop). Had some difficulty locating the hotel. The reception staff were friendly. There is a big food court next door, and hotel guests will have to put up with the live performance until midnight. Our room was rather small and narrow (with the double bed taking up most of the space). No dressing table. Unfortunately the bed in this room was old and creaking. Light sleepers may find it disturbing from the sounds of footsteps at night because of the wooden flooring. (On our first night, we could hear the guests in the adjoining room packing the stuffs they bought; they checked out before sunrise.) Most of the rooms, including ours, are based on shared washbasins and bathrooms, etc. The bathrooms are not as clean (to our liking); with stains and mold. We saw only a lone housekeeper (an Indonesian woman). Footnote: This hotel will be more suitable for those who are on shoestring budgets and not particular about their lodging.

Don't Expect Too Much
Booked a Family Room for 2N from Agoda. Room is okay if you're not fussy but heavily infested with mosquitoes. Bedsheets and quilts are yellowish. Toilet is clean, which impressed me. Creaking floor. Saw a rat at the patio. Checked out the next day even though we had fully paid for two nights. Non refundable but it was our best decision made in Penang.

Okay if you are not fussy
Stayed here for 4 nights. The location is quite okay. If you're fussy type of person, then you might want to choose another hotel/backpackers hostel. I would advice any travellers who wish to stay here to bring your own toiletries such as shampoo, shower cream/ soap, toothbrush, towels, slippers etc2.

Don't waste your time
The photos are another hotel, the room was disgusting, very small, linen was to small for the bed, we stayed one night had booked four nights, left next morning A/C unit leaked on our head. Bathroom was old, moldy and very cramped. Noise transferred through walls as they are poorly made or very thin. Staff were ordinary, busy smoking and not much else.

Worst stay in Penang
We paid for the double room, checked in...and checked right away out!! The rooms are not at all as shown on the pictures. The pictures show another hotel... Instead, the room had a disgusting carpet floor and molding walls. Don't stay there, there are better and cleaner options for this money.
