Unforgettable breakfast
Room amenities very basic. Cheap bathroom toiletries. Could not sleep well due to dog bark over the night. But the breakfast was the worst in my entire travelling experience in the past 30 years. Tiny portion of fried noodle and some bread. The most thrilling part was one guest is only limited to one fried egg! And the waiter who served from the tray is able to recognise one who took the egg before ! Simply amazing !

Piece of Bali in the middle of Johor farmland
I have to concur with some of the reviewers about the road going in and the general maintenance of the place. There's also not a lot of street lighting outside so unless you're planning on going out again in the evening... don't. Thanks to the location maps and GPS coordinates, it wasn't too hard to find. Arrived around noon to find that check-in is only at 2 p.m. Went out to Kulai for lunch and a spot of shopping at JPO and dinner at AEON and were already on the way back before they called about the rooms that we already paid for when we were there earlier. Room I got was almost clean except for a cigarette butt I found in the bathroom and the dirty as heck extra pillows in the cupboard I would've already tossed out if it were me. Which leads me to believe that they only did a cursory clean of the room and not a more thorough sweep before the room was released. The bed had this weird smell that some people might not get over and I got a few hours of sleep myself before waking up around 5 am (which is something I don't normally do), being awakened by the crowing roosters. Never got round to trying the spa treatments and the rest of the facilities, so I can't comment on those. Conclusion: It looks nice, but once is probably enough :P

A great concept but poor location and maintenance
I booked a night at rbr because my gf from KL visited my hometown. Found rbr online and was surprised that it is just 10km away from my home (I am from Senai). The booking was made via email and the staff was friendly in answering my phonecalls. Though rbr is very near my house but I had a difficult time finding the place. Very bad road condition leading to the resort and no proper road lights for certain part of the road. The resort has a good nature surrounding and you can hear birds singing even at night. Excellent place for star gazing and for folks who are sick of city life. The room is big but the bed is shaky and noisy. We checked in quite late at 8pm Fri night and surprised to find out tat there were only 2 guests (including us) tonight. We really like surrounding of the resort but were a bit turned off by the bad road condition and poor maintenance of some facilities.

My bad experience...
Poor maintenance, location is not suitable for people to visit especially at night. Located deep in d jungle where no proper road and far from other facilities. Area of factories and estates. Food average, facilities poor, beds are terrible! I cant even watch tv because theres no coverage.

Stay with nature
Like the setting of the resort very much. Especially the nature, everything in the resort just like in the garden. The 24 hour flow of spring water in the drain makes the area mosquitos free! Not very crrowded and if I'm not mistaken, they only have 10 rooms included the suite. Everything was satisfied beside the dust behind the chair are not proper clean.
