Great, clean, and recommended for backpacker
If you looking for a nice place with cheap price and location on nightlife in KL, here is your other choice!
My earlier stay at this hostel was a nightmare due to bedbugs. This time around I was expecting the problem to have been fixed. But to my shock the problem persisted. Even though I was given a different room this time (upstairs), one of the guests staying in the same room with me complained about bed bugs! To my surprise I even saw one trying to crawl up my pants while I was sitting on the sofa in the reception area. But recently the place has been renovated and looks better. I panicked and requested for another room downstairs.
Got a bunk-bed (6-bed room) but was disappointed because there were bed bugs in the room. My neighbor, a Syrian guy suffered the most bites ( w/red spots all over his legs). The next day, I moved to another room (8 bunk-bed), which was much better. The a/cond was quite cold and the blankets were thin. Some renovation has been done, and more improvements are being considered according to the Manager. Overall the place was clean(including bath and toilets). Location is good (centre of KL) and variety of food outlets and entertainment spots (ample) available.
I stayed for 3 days 3 nights in a 6 bunk-bed room. I suffered some mild itchiness on my legs during the 1st night's sleep. Upon closer inspection the next morning, I noticed tiny spots on my shoulder blades (typical of bug bites). On the 2nd night, the itchiness became more intense and I complained to the cleaner and he said they had sprayed anti-bug spray earlier. I suspect the sheets were not changed. On the 3rd night, the itchiness was unbearable, so I decided to move to the top bunk (luckily it was vacant with clean sheets). Overall, the place was reasonably clean and tidy including the toilets. WiFi signal was good. so good that I could even receive the signal in the toilet. Breakfast was coffee and toast with margarine / jam.
Unclean room, they didn't clean and change bedspreads, staffs and services were bad because they didn't anything for customers, the bathroom wasn't working so I had to take from the sink.

Worst place ever visited in life
My experience was horrible. IT was the worst hostel i have ever visited but at a very good place. Broken noisy beds, awful and very limited food, non-working AC, only 1 working AC for 12 persons, a completely non-suitable dull environment. Simply HELL !! My 2 nights 1 day stay was ghostly horrible.

Wouldn't recommend
I'm not one to usally write a bad review but I thought this has to be done, where do I start. Me and my friend are traveling south east Asia and we come to this hostel for a week we have stayed in many hostels along the way but this one is by far the worse.. We stayed in a 6 bed mixed door. If you want to sleep then don't stay here. We like going out partying ourself but the music outside is blaring until gone 5am. There are taxis constantly bibbing and people shoring on the street every night. We had breakfast included so wanted to get up for that but it stops at 10 and where you can't sleep at night when you do finally get to sleep we kept missing it from how late we were going to sleep. The guy that works here constantly walks into the room really at early hours of the morning 5am.. They don't give you a key to get in and out of the hostel so you have to ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in. All night I here people coming in and ringing the bell hundreds of times because the staff can't here then. The air con is constantly switched on and off. At nights is on freezing all night and you need to put layers on and when you come in from outdoor it's not on and your sweating. There is about 2 showers one upstairs one downstairs the upstairs one is big but cold and the downstairs one is like a tiny wet room. They have one Mirror Between everyone. This place is in a good location and does have safety lockers however there is no atmosphere what so ever. I would never stay in this hostel again and I would not recommend it to anyone
