Front office was very nice. I was given an upgrade upon arrival but there was no soap or shampoo. I think housekeeping forgot to refill but since I brought my own, it was fine. Room has a strong cigarette smell, told FO and they came with air freshener. Pretty good stay
It was a really good experience staff with initiative to get things done upon request. Thanks a lot to the receptionist Mr.Hassan
Very recommended! I love the vibes, people, corridor and place.
First time I came to visit KL. I had 5 days stayed in The Hulo. All nice people, services, nice position, nice pictures,.... I love it and I will be back soon.
Amazing staff of Hulo Hotel. They were so friendly.
Value for money, clean and comfortable.
Overall are good. however the water heater is not functions.
Checking was smooth but be aware of the extra tourist tax you have to pay in Malaysia (since last september). location is -/+ 10 mins walk from the monorail, my room didn't had the extra lock (chain) felt a bit unsafe due to the missing part. 2 bottles of water per day which are great, late check out was great, friendly and helpful staff
It was very nice boutique hotel with an art display. This is my second time I stay at the hotel the room was spacious and comfortable also tidy and clean. The customer service was very good always greeting the customer and help them if they need something to. It's recommended hotel!!

Good value for money
Very good place to stay for solo travelers because the rooms are very small. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I booked a room for 3 nights and it was a well spent money. I would definitely stay in this hotel next time I visit Kuala Lumpur.

Artistic Gallery Hotel
I'm enjoy myself staying at The Hulo because of it reasonable price and the great hotel and room design. I won't consider this hotel as a budget hotel even though the price you are paying is not premium. This room is not huge but nicely design so u can enjoy yourself inside. The view from my windows room is not great but I'm truly appreciate the great sunlight from the window. There are also a lot of mirror in the room. There is a open space car park beside the building and a parking coupon is provided for the guest. My main complaint are the location is neither bad nor good and the bed's quality is not up to my expectations but it is not a show stopper.

An artistic expression
Located about a 5 minute walk to the Berjaya Times Square, the hotel offered a reasonably good value for money. Rooms are small but comfortable if you are alright with beds laid out at floor level. Lack of seating or space to put up luggage in the room are negatives. Hotel is decorated with local art pieces which give it a welcoming ambience particularly in the lobby. Front desk personnel are very helpful. Some inexpensive restaurants around the hotel, although for dining in air conditioned comfort head out to the Berjaya Times Square shopping mall.

Beautiful and value for money
I booked this hotel just for a short stay and did not expect that much as I got good discount from the OTA and the room rate was affordable. But it turned to a nice exprience. I came to checkin at late night but the process went smoothly, and I was suprised when seeing the room, small but well equipped, good amenities and beautiful design. I loved the art works at this hotel and those works made this hotel unique. Staff are helpful though. They tried helpling me book a grabcar to the airport. In general, I enjoyed my stay there. P.s: location is not so good though.

Rude service of receptionist and bad cleanliness of toilet
I have requested for early check in two week ago and it's confirmed with a return email. On the check in day, I was just came back from china 6hour of midnight flight, we approach counter .A Chinese reception guy who wearing spec take our identity card and he say will check availability.then he walk to the dining area and sit down for 20minite.we still waiting for his answer. Then we approach another reception lady , she say come back after one hour. After 1 and half hour we come back to hostel is around 1.00pm. again we approach that reception guy , again he ignore us and walk away without saying anything. Then another lady check us in, it's take around 30minute and behind of me many guest is waiting. She forgot about the room key card, not sure which room Can be given and very slow motion . After we get our room realize the toilet bowl with dirty stain. And our room suppose booked king bed and we been given twin bed due to I'm too tired and exhausted. So I'm just leave it. The only thing I would like to compliment about is the security guard. He offer us welcome drink, and help us with our backpack without our ask.thanks a lot. Location ain't near berjaya time square with walking distance. Parking is disappointed because is 3rd party open air parking with per entrance rm6. I'm work as a hotelier as well. I don't expect a very good service in hostel. However this hostel don't even have normal check in knowledge.
