Good for the price
Overall room, toilet and other amenities are okay. Just that the cupboard when open is abit noisy. Perhaps, the hotel operator can fix it. The wifi need password. Location wise is abit far from town and jonker walk. But, it you need a quiet place probably this shall be a good pick!

Good for transit....
This hotel has the best bargain in Malacca for a long weekend. Decided to go for it. Not familiar with Malacca, but roughly know the location. However, this hotel is not located along the main road. So have to drive around a little bit to find this hotel. Since coming in late, parking can be a challenge. Hotel is not a stand alone building, but a 3 storey shop lot, where the hotel is not located at the corner, but 2 intermediate lots. The outlook is very basic. As you enter the hotel, you are faced with a long hotel counter. On the right side, is a cafe. Since arriving late, the cafe was closed. Check in was easy. However, the staff could not speak English well. The staff would ask for MYR20 as deposit and MYR2 for state government heritage tax, which is applicable to all hotels in Malacca. Keep the receipt to get the MYR20 deposit refund, when check out. There is no lift. Need to walk up the stair case on the left to get to the rooms. The verandah is very narrow. Rooms were small but okay. Very basic. Bathroom has no long bath, but with standing shower with no shower curtain. When shower, the entire bathroom floor would be wet. This hotel is good for transit. The consolation for this hotel is there is a few places to have meals

a real bargain, location not the best
Stayed here for 3 nights, it is difficult to find and not where it says on google maps, the closest sort of landmark that anyone will be able to direct you to is Hotel Orange which is 5 minutes walk. The staff are very friendly, it is quite far away from the main area, Jonker, the river etc but in a nice area anyway with lots of cheap food outlets and a 7/11 nearby. The wifi is oddly the best I've found throughout Asia and they have water fountains which give hot and cold water, strangely I have found this very rare in Malaysia and Indonesia despite the tap water being undrinkable and they are both crazy hot. Would happily stay again if in Melaka!
