Very close to Mahkota Medical Center. Provide lift, which I needed. Many excellent restaurants nearby and walk distance to many tourist destinations. Room was clean, better than what I expected. Bathroom is clean and dry. Wifi is great. Worth the money!
location great but the cleanliness of the room is bad.
Descent price for its quality. It's recommended for those who want to visit Mahkota Medical Centre.
The service is good. But it's not as clean as I expected. The room a little bit smelly

Better than my expectation
It's very easy to find because its bright purple colour really stands out. I came with my sick sister who's seeing a doctor at Mahkota Medical Center so we choose this hotel as they provide lift. The room was unexpectedly very clean. We had twin bed and still some small space for laying our big luggage on. The bathroom was nice and clean too with hot water. Staffs were nice and helpful. If you'r visiting Mahkota Medical, better stay here coz it's walkable from this hotel, only 112 m. Access to delicious food is very easy. I recommend try eating at Restaurant Madinah on Melaya Raya street and Nasi Kukus Berempah on the same street as this hotel. The latter restaurant ohhh yummy food!!! One thing is the hotel put this big tall wooden coat hanger right in front of the door and it blocked my entrance. Didnt really need that actually, just take up space. Also, funny things: I found one picture hanging on the wall upside down and if you're inside the lift, check the picture of a woman holding an iphone. See if u can find something not quite right there!

good location and friendly staffs
the hotel is very centrally located and the staffs are friendly . the price is value for money. Certainly for the price of a room at RM 69.00 the facilities provided are all good. having a chat with the owner I came to understand the shortcomings and complains by other guest . No frills but loads of supporting services. Money Changing, travel agent , mini market , hand phone top ups, the owner , a season traveller himself accepts the shortcomings of staffs but whilst talking to him , noticed that all the needfull by guest were well attended. thou I believe the cleanliness of rooms can do better. Its a really bz hotel for Indonesians as most signages suggest such

On behalf of my parents...
"There wasn't hot water in our bathroom, and when we informed reception, we were told that "Trend hotel is not a business." Our room smelt of cigarette smoke, despite the no smoking sign in the corridor. The wall switches in the room were all loose, so charge your electronics with caution. When we complained about the cigarette smell in the room, we had to pay more to upgrade to a different room." -my parents Disclaimer: I personally enjoyed the free wifi, good quality beds and beddings provided, and the location of the hotel.

Poor cleanliness!
Today is my second night. I have no choice because the best part of this hotel is really near to.Mahkota hospital, just 3 mins walk. Since im with my sick grandma. It has Lift Access too! Aircon, hot water. Its crowded BUT lacking of housekeepers i guess. The room full of dust and the bathroom was not clean. No water heater kettle, no glasses. You can find food easily and walk to dataran pahlawan or parkson. Well, afterall this is so affordable and cheap hotel, you expect nothing.

Superficially trendy
Was looking for a budget hotel that is really close to down town. Well, found this on the internet and give it a try, and made the booking online. Firstly for 2 nights and then extend for another night. So all in all 3 nights.. Arrived and the shop front is really trendy. Once got into the shop, the first impression by the receptionist is a real let down. They could not speak English... passable, and not even asking for excellent. Then have to go through their papers to and told me it's good for 1 night. Told them no... it's 3 nights in total. After they have checked, and going through the registration, then hand me a recycle bag, which is quite trendy, but inside it contains 2 towels and 2 bottle of drinking water. Did not expect much and they hand me my room key. Yes... room KEY. Not key card. Got into the lift and got out and look for my room. It is like a maze to get to my room. Open the door and only 1 person can get in at a time. Yes... it is really narrow. And almost can say jump into the bed. Got the room as twin bed superior room. The beds is really narrow. and the blanket is really thin. The bathroom .. there were buckets and water scoop, which I think the water supply may be a frequent problem. The bidet tap was leaking and the floor was wet when I got into the room. For the 3 nights they did not change my towels at all. Looks like complain is useless. When check out they ask for my towel. Told them the towels are wt and don't expect me to put the wet towels into the recycle bag and return it to the reception. Absolutely not recommended even though they are really cheap and close to down town.
