The service is excellent. A very friendly atmosphere you will get right after you get there. We had a nice room, a very clean-shared bathroom, but the most interesting is that they have a great lounge on the attic. I love it. Very close to chinatown and other market places. We really had a good times being there. Pretty much sure I would have to stay there if we have a chance to visit Malaysia next time.

Changed the room three times, because it did not meet the room I had scheduled. Some cold air is not cold, lived for two days, next door and decoration and paint, the taste is very heavy, sleep are smelled. As for the staff are good. A penny, a sub-goods it.

My booking for 4 people on 24-25 December 2015, the most prominent of them all is the real location. very strategic, close to MRT sm free bus in KL. Petaling street just 5 minutes. to orang2 although there is no long stay there also they ramah2, many know new friends from all over the world. and grateful to be able to enjoy a stay at home taste. recommended for the traveler or a family with a very low cost

Nice place
Double private bedrooms are really nice. The air conditioner works well and bed sommier is good .The bar upstairs where you have breakfast also is fresh and well decorated. Perfect place to stay in the heart of Chinatown, near pasar seni and central market .

great place! very accessible!
The amenities were great but there was no microwave, only a hot water dispenser and refrigerator. we got a 4 bedroom unit with ac and lockers but only one locker was open. the rest needed to be rented with a key. you can ask for the key at the reception. you can also ask for towels at the reception. the staff was nice and accommodating. Also, Free breakfast! the place near Petaling Street (market) and a bus stop. it is also very near convenient stores. one issue: no slipper/shoes policy.

A great hostel
General summary: Having stayed in various youth hostels and budget hotels across Europe and Asia, I can safely say that this is a cut above. This is definitely more a hostel than a hotel, with communal facilities and simply furnished dormitory style rooms. I stayed in the part that has been recently refurbished with a nod to a historical style. Staff and atmosphere are very friendly (not at all intimidating for families with children or first-time travellers), exceptionally clean (there is a no-shoes policy beyond the reception area), reasonably quiet (if you are on the top floor expect a bit of noise from the bar above till around midnight). Bedroom and bathroom: I stayed in a three-person room which had a double bed on a mezzanine floor and a single bed below next to a sofa. Bed was comfy, bedding was clean, and there was a proper thin duvet (rather than just a sheet, as is the norm in other places). Air-Con efficient and adjustable. WiFi had good speed even from the bedroom. No food or drink allowed in bedrooms, but there are communal kitchen spaces, bar, and lobby area where you can eat. Bathrooms are mixed gender and regularly cleaned. Showers are powerful and hot. Hairdryer provided in the bathroom. Bar/breakfast: The bar on the rooftop is a real bonus, especially if you are travelling alone. Friendly atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks. At 10MYR for a can of beer it isn't the cheapest you can get in KL, but you get a nice view across the city and good, safe company. A simple breakfast is served in the bar each morning. Freshly cooked eggs are available for 5MYR, but toast/coffee/tea are free. There is a full, printed breakfast menu, but for some reason it was only eggs available when I went. Location: Very near Chinatown and slightly away from the centre. A walkable distance from Petronas Towers (45mins or so), but there are excellent transport links via a brand new underground station and bus station. Public transport is cheap. Criticism: Although they are clean the toilet seat and the toilet floor is often very wet with water. Also, one of the showers is in the same cubicle as the one of the toilets on each floor. Music noise from the bar travels onto the top bedroom-floor.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, great showers!
I stayed here with family for a few nights and the location was perfect! A short walk to China Town and the underground station. The room was a good size with air con and wifi. The bathroom was very clean and the showers were better than our shower at home!! Loved the view from the rooftop bar, especially at night!. It mostly seemed to be young travellers staying at the hostel, but it was great for our family trip :)

good location, clean room, shame about the bathroom.
The hostel is in a good location, right on the edge of China town and near to the Pesar Seni station. We stayed in a private room which was very nice and spacious. The bed was on a upper tier and on the ground floor there was a sofa and small table. The hostel did have a rooftop bar but we didn't drink in there, however breakfast was served there every morning. Toast with butter/jam and tea/coffee was included in the room rate; and you could also pay RM5 for eggs to accompany this. There were 2 things that let the hostel down for me. The bathroom was nice with a hot powerful shower, however there was something wrong with the drainage system. When taking a shower, the water filled around your feet and one of the sinks was blocked. We spoke to the manager about this who replied 'he would speak to the maintenance guy' The second thing was that one morning a guy approached us about heading out with him to the Batu Caves and various other temples the next morning. It sounded fun but he failed to mention until the end of the conversation that he was working for the hostel, and that this was with a tour guide and costs RM40 each. Seemed a pretty sly tactic. We did all of the things on the list on our own for a 1/4 of the price. The transport system in KL is fast and cheap so there is no need to book tours. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here, the WIFI was strong and the room were clean.
