Staff so friendly, few choices of breakfast and maybe can add fruits. Room so clean.
Air conditioner not cool, parking difficult.
- Family vacation
The room got no cellphone coverage. The window in the room cannot close. The food no so delicious.
- Business travel
I've been a regular at tune hotel since 2009 in general the service is good however more attention is needed in the cleaning of the rooms and the buffet breakfast. I stayed in 2 different rooms 726 and 722 both had urine smell in the bathroom and the toilet bowl wasn't clean. Breakfast was mediocre at best (not as good as klia2) food wasn't keep warn nor topped up, only white bread on offer, it was the same menu 3 days in a row. No fruits offered.
- Backpacking
Such a nice place, located on the heart of KL.
- Business travel
very noisy from outside Saturday night, can't sleep
- Family vacation
Worth for the money. Hotel is cheap but the service is good. You even got free breakfast even the menu not much but quite acceptable for your morning appetite considering of the hotel price. Location right in the main street. Place near public transport and surounded by many place to eat even in the middle night there some place still open. Only the cons is that while i stay in here it's on the weekend. Some people do street race next to hotel make noise and bother your sleep. Don't know if they also do that on the weekday.
- Family vacation
No parking. Small room. Water flow blockage and overload.
- Backpacking
My 2nd stay here. Place is quite small but I love the slightly modern touch in this place so thumbs up.
- Family vacation
We’ve quite enjoyed our stay, but I think hygiene and security are the most aspect that need to be improved. Two things: 1. Windows that can’t be locked (we moved our room but the conditions are the same) 2. Cockroach underneath the bed (sorry can’t take the photo), this need no explanation. We’ve expected a lot from this hotel but quite turned down by these experiences, kindly improve it.

Interesting Places near Tune Hotel Kuala Lumpur

These two streets are the older streets around KL and are filled with a mix of old pre-war shop lots and modern buildings. Both are great places for fabric hunting and cheap finds. Many of the retails outlets are family-run businesses that have been around for years.

Jalan Masjid India is a stretch of road that is named after the local mosque, which literally translated means “Indian Mosque”. The area is marked with a distinct Indian-Muslim accent and teems with a colourful combination of people and products. The pre-war shop-houses sell a profusion of authentic Indian items such as traditional costumes in vibrant hues, Indian delicacies as well as beautifully crafted ornaments and accessories. You will find any kind of Indian import you desire, from food to jewellery to make-up to colourful saris.

Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman is named after Malaysia’s first Agong (King). The pre-war buildings on this road, with their unique features, still exist and are preserved. Every Saturday, between 5 to 10 pm, the Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman is closed to vehicles to make room for a night market that offers an assortment of fabrics, textiles, clothing and food at attractive prices. Business activities along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Masjid India are from 9am - 10pm. Night market at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman start from 5pm till 11pm every Saturday

Petaling Street is a shopper’s haven, albeit in a different league when compared to its more glamorous counterparts, Bukit Bintang and KLCC. A well-known shopping district, the whole area transforms into a lively and vibrant night market after dark, with hundreds of stalls selling all kinds of stuff at dirt-cheap prices, making it the most happening night market in the city. Petaling Street is chock-full of shops and stalls selling goods and food. A signboard warning against the sale of imitation goods provides an interesting – even ironic – contrast as the whole street is practically littered with fake branded items. Handbags, watches, trainers, clothing – you name it, they’ve got it.
