Easy to hunt food surrounding. Weekday parking space limited for weekend is great.

Urban Bird is located in Bukit Bintang, not too far from the hustle and bustle and fancy nightlife of KL. The service is really good, which makes your stay pleasant. The rooms are nice and clean but are very small. Ones with a window are called Deluxe rooms and ones without, Standard. The place doesn't serve meals, but there are a few good Chinese and Bengali food restaurants round the corner. You do not have a choice for a smoking room. From what i'm given to understand, smoking is prohibited in most hotels and Urban Bird is no exception to this rule. You may however step down and smoke at the small tables they have laid out outside the main lobby. Overall, if you're looking for a budget trip and want to minimize travel time to the city centre, Urban Bird may be a great choice.

Very Clean Hotel
We stayed for one night after coming one day early from Penang. Small and unfamiliar hotel, taxi driver took time to locate it. However staffs were very cooperative and guided us well. We book a room with double room, which was very tiny but very clean and well maintained. It had a co located small bar but no other dining facilities.

Perfect stay and excellent value
The Urban Bird Hotel was the perfect choice for a couple of days in KL. On arrival they upgraded me into a Deluxe Queen room. The Deluxe Queens are small but there's enough space for luggage, even for two people it would be fine I suppose. But on that note, it's important to know that the bathrooms are open towards the ceiling. If you're traveling alone that's obviously no problem but when traveling with someone be prepared that there's no way to hide ANYTHING. Otherwise both bathroom and room were perfectly clean and in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable and there are several wall-attached wardrobes and hooks to hang clothes. If you're a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs as there can be noise from the hallway. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the reception is covered 24/7. Also, I felt really safe as the main entrance can only be opened from the outside when ringing the bell and being admitted by the staff. Attached to the hotel is a coffee shop/waffle place attached to it, which is a nice and friendly place. Only thing is, it doesn't open until noon so it's no breakfast option. Location-wise the hotel is about a 5' walk each to Pudu and Imbi station. You can also walk to Bukit Bintang in about 15-20'. During daytime it's very safe in this area, but I don't know about night time. I never walked back to the hotel when it was late but took a Grab car. I can definitely recommend this place and can honestly say it was the best value in Southeast Asia so far.

Great Place to stay
We had diffifculties with our laundry since the shop had already closed and we got stuck in a trafficjam. The people working there however managed to somehow find out the contact thrue literaly asking almost everyone out on the streets. After two hours we finaly had the mobile number and he would come to open the Shop. Great customer service. Either than that the rooms are clean and you have the fealing the staff cares about you. Thank you. We enjoyed it. :-)

Well done, Urban Bird!
Okay, this place isn't located in the most charming area of KL, to be honest, but they really try to make the best out of your stay! The owners are super nice. The rooms are really really small, and the bathroom is separated from the room only through a sliding door (no privacy in the toilet... make sure you stay with someone who loves you!). But it was so convenient because everything was neatly labeled - where the switches are, how to use the water heater and so on. The bed was comfortable and clean! AC worked well! Absolute value for money. Shopping within walking distance.

Great place, better staff in the middle of local life in KL
Great place and amazing staff. They will help you out with everything you need! Some rooms can be small but still nice, our bed was comfortable and nice. We ask the staff for many thing even to clean up the room and they made it happily. Actually you can get your room maked up every day under requests they won't go in to your room unless you ask for it :). They have water to refill and a nice coffe shop with some pearls. And talk to the staff, they are really nice and helpful Wifi it ok in the room but much better on the reception. Regards
