- Backpacking
It was okay. the staff was very friendly and helpful. only 2 or 3 mins walk to Masjid Jamek LRT station so it was so convenient. it is located right beside main road so if you don't mind with the noisy sounds from the street this is a great place to stay.
7.1
- Business travel
Serve its purpose: a place for sleeping. The towels and bedsheets were not clean and looked a bit old. The bathroom was nice, though. Overall, it is worth the price I paid since I got the promotion price
5.2
Location is good. room is small. Pillows and blanket are dirty and stained.
8.5
- Shopping & Culinary
I need iron in the room. Not asking at the reception every time I want to use it.
9.4
- Family vacation
Simply clean hotel and strategic location and helpful staff. Close to Masjid Jamek LRT stasion. We can walk to Central Market, Kesturi Walk, Chinatown, Masjid Jamek. A lot of fast food restaurant, Indian restaurant. We also find Moslem restaurant. Interior is clean and well maintained. Room cleaning every day. Water dispenser is available. The only lowlight to be adapted is sound of LRT train every time it pass ( we stay at Room 403). Other than that it is still a good choice to stay.

Interesting Places near YY48 Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Central Market - Central Market is one of KL’s most familiar landmarks and a popular tourist attraction. Built in 1928, it is a short walk away from Petaling Street, along Jalan Hang Kasturi. Also called Pasar Seni, it used to be a simple wet market but in the early 1980s was revamped into a handicrafts outlet. The focus for the city’s artistic community, inside the building is a warren of boutiques, handicraft and souvenir stalls with traders selling local merchandise such as authentic Malaysian batik prints and more. Central Market is located on the opposite bank of the Dayabumi Complex and is an art-deco style building with local ‘Baroque’ trimmings.

Merdeka Square - Merdeka Square is undoubtedly KL’s best known landmark. Also called Dataran Merdeka, it is set in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building (the former State Secretariat). Directly in front is the Royal Selangor Club and to the north is St. Mary’s Church, one of Malaysia’s oldest Anglican churches. Within the colonial core of Kuala Lumpur, where the remnants of the British empire are especially evident, Merdeka Square seems to be nothing more than a giant field with perfectly manicured green lawns and a centrepiece of the tallest flagpole in the world (95m) proudly displaying the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian flag). At the corner of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Raja Laut, Merdeka Square is made up of a padang (field) that was once the Selangor Club cricket pitch.
