Eleven Stafford Street Townhouse

Advertised as 2nd floor but room was actually on 3rd. Winding stairs made it very difficult to carry luggage up and down. Not recommended for anyone with any sort of physical limitation. Also, no screen on the window and it needed to be open as the small room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Saw a sea gull come into the room 2 times and actually took a bag with nuts off the bed and came very close to grabbing a pill container. Needed to keep shade down so no bird would come in while sleeping. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they stayed on the main floor. Good location. Close to tram, coffee shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable enough but in general, the room was too uncomfortable on 3rd floor.

Access ability to everything quiet and beautiful

This unit was very secure and in an excellent location, we were central and able to walk to everything we wanted! The room was so cute and so clean and it was nice to have the fan and be able to open windows.

Room was very well thought of for all needs. Liked the top up cupboard on the first floor. Check in seemless. If on top floor be aware stairs are very steep. We managed as we only did then once a day . Be mindful of the room you pick . We were in Moray which I believe was one of the bigger rooms but still not overly generous. Would stay here again for sure as location perfect.

Every night Loud talkers at 2:30 am in the alleyway made sleeping impossible.

We loved staying at Eleven Stafford in the West End. Taking the tram from EDI was easy (even with many bags) and we found the location to be perfect for walking anywhere in Edinburgh. We had heavy bags because our daughter is moving here from the US and it was quite an exercise getting them up to the top floor so would probably request a lower level room next time. All in all, this was a perfect perch to explore Edinburgh!

This place is great! Easy parking, clean, comfy rooms, and a great restaurant. The staff was very friendly as well. This was our favorite place to stay on our trip!

Very nice hotel. Lovely room had the moray. Clean tidy boutique style. Handy to walk to the castle very close indeed. Could of done with a little shelf over the sink. Highly recommended. Will book again.

A regular home-from-home. Check in was efficient with e mails well in advance explaining the procedure. A lovely room, well equipped in a perfect location for Princes St. and the main attractions. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at this place. It may have been room-specific, but I thought the room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were a nice touch. I’ll stay again when in Edinburgh.

Lovely place. Gave us some amazing shortbread when we arrived, and it was comfy and beautiful. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Nice quiet location bed comfortable no wardrobe to hang clothes our room was small and compact would not like to stay longer than 2 nights.

We liked the location of the property. It was easy walking to see Edinburgh. There was plenty of restaurants in close proximity and it was on the quiet side being a block off the main street. You could even easily walk to Dean Village which was great. The room was small but sufficient. we did not spend too much time in the room, so it was not an issue. Parking was okay, pretty expensive in that area of town. Unfortunately, we needed a car for the rest of our trip, but you do not need one in that area of town.

Lovely room, but that’s it a room and a code to get in Not clear when booking that this would a hotel with no reception and no breakfast facility available

Absolutely loved our stay here at Eleven Stafford! The area was nice and quiet, but near lots of cute cafes and shopping. The room had everything we needed and was spacious and well decorated. Note that there is no refrigerator and the ice machine was not extremely reliable, so there was no way to keep anything cold if that's what you are looking for. We would definitely stay again!

Great location, comfortable bed. Very small bathroom, no elevator, top floor. Cute room, but unable to open the window very far, which made the room very stuffy. This would not be a good place in the middle of a hot summer day. The rest of the year I’m sure it’s fine.

The cutest hotel ever. We loved our stay and would love to return soon. Safe, clean, very well maintained and super charming. HIGHLY recommend !!

Everything was perfect except every time the people above me walked across the floor I could hear every step. I had to put earplugs in to fall asleep. Otherwise the location was incredible and the bed was very comfortable.
