Ibis Budget Singapore Crystal is located at one of the side of Geylang area. Location wise is great at it is easily accessed to public transportation. Just few metres walkaway, hotel guests may take the public buses directly to several parts of Singapore or transit to nearest MRT stations. From the main Geylang Road, there is a bus stop (Bef Lor 18 Geylang) and from the Guillemard Road, there is are two bus stops (Aft Lor 14 Geylang and Aft Chen Li Presby Ch). The nearest MRT station is Aljunied, which is around 10-12 minutes walking distance. The reception staff service is fast upon check in and check out, but they should improve their hospitality in greeting guests first. I appreciate their kind assistance to help tourists on direction. Their housekeeping staff did good job on room cleanliness but they should improve on checking the soap on the bathroom. As we stayed here few days, on the certain days, we found out that the soap was run out. When refilling the tea and coffee as well as clean towels, they should have to put these items neatly. For budget hotel, ibis Crystal actually is a good recommendation as the rooms and bathroom are quite spacious for budget hotel standard. I ever stayed at few budget hotels in Singapore and so far I find that ibis Crystal is the best. The bed is comfy. They also have rooms for 3 persons. They provide hair dryer, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and several electric sockets/USB plugs. There are two lifts serving the whole building so guests do not need to wait too long. As the part of taking care of the environment, the hotel doesn't change bed linen and towel everydat if you are staying for longer period. They will only change the bed linen and towel by request. They do not provide bottled drinking water. They suggest guest to drink from the tap water. This information is available at reception and even at the bathroom. We did drink from the tap water as Singapore tap water is safe to be consumed. Along the Geylang Road withing walking distance from the hotel, there are a lot of local eateries from Chinese, Indian, seafood available within walking distance from the hotel. Shen Shiong Supermarket is also located nearby. Telco shops are also available nearby so if you stay here as a tourist, you may buy easily buy SIM card by just using your passport. The price of SIM card is around sgd 12.00, depends on the telco operator and package. The price of the new SIM card sold here is much cheaper than sold in the airport which is around sgd 55.00.

Everything is neat and clean. As requested, iron and board is provided. Wifi connection is good. Near mamak stall for tasty prata and teh tarik. Bus stops nearby with bus services available to Geylang Serai, Bugis and Town area. Highly recommendedfor budget travellers. To further improve, do consider installing bidets in toilets. 👍.

The receptionist is friendly, I like the room a lot because it's clean, spacious enough, bathroom also clean. Very good air conditioning and wifi in the room. What I don't like is the MRT station quite far from the hotel and the hotel is located around the prostitution area.

Had a pleasant one night stay with them. Very convenient neighbourhood and nearby few bus stops to move around. The room was affordable and yet it was comfortable and clean.
