We arrived late, and we're able to quickly check in. Hotel has a bar and restaurant but also has other options close by. Would stay here again and was only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was very pleasant. Our room was spacious with a king bed, mini bar and balcony with a great view of the city from the 8th floor. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was decent. The spa was fun. Our room was not ready at check in time and no one attended to us at La Llum bar when we tried dining there. The rooftop bar and pool was very small and crowded and only drinks were available for purchase. The restaurant downstairs was the main dining option but lunch was expensive. The electricity went out for a couple of hours one night. There was a huge roach in our room but we were able to remove it ourselves. Communication with some of the staff was challenging. Staff would knock on the door and immediately open the door without waiting for us to answer. There were a lot of interruptions by different staff members. Overall, it was a nice stay in a very convenient location, close to public transportation, restaurants, shopping and the beach.

Staff superb throughout, friendly staff on reception and upgraded us to a wonderful room. Great feed in the bar area. Clean and extremely comfortable rooms. Pool area superb. Highly recommend and in a good quiet and safe area.

This property is in need of updating. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in the next room at average speaking level. My room did not have coffee but when I asked it was brought to my room. A hot pot with instant packets. My status was not recognized. So, no gratis water. At check in I arrived at 3:15 pm. Was told my room was not ready and to wait in the lobby. I gave the person my name. After 1 1/2 hrs of waiting I inquired and found my room to have been ready. When asked why I wasn’t notified the response was we didn’t know you were waiting. At this time. I pointed to the receptionist whom I game my name and said, she did”!
Clearly, a lack of communication between staff members. I would not choose this hotel. But would consider the H10 Catalonia. Wish I had!!

Brilliant stay in Barcelona with my Dad. The spa facilities were absolutely faultless - we used them all three days.
Very clean hotel, and our room was excellent with brilliant views towards the beach.
The location is slightly out of Barcelona centre, but we didn't mind the walk.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at H10 Marina Barcelona. When I initially pulled up to the hotel, I wasn't impressed about the exterior and the surrounding area. However, as soon as I entered the hotel, the interior was lovely. The room was nicely decorated and well maintained - I had no complaints with this. It was also nice to have a complimentary bottle of cava and macarons in the room on arrival.
The check-in experience was inconsistent. I expected to pay city taxes, however, I was also asked to pay a "wellness fee". I booked a junior suite with single spa access, so I'm not sure what this fee was for and, due to the language barrier, I didn't question it at the time. Also, there was a well stocked mini bar in the room which Someone else in the party informed me that it was free for our room type - no one at reception explained this.

Max at reception was absolutely brilliant. Everything was pretty much okay apart from that. Breakfast was good …. Surrounding areas in need of attention and a homeless man was sleeping underneath one of the benches but hotel cannot help that ….. all together 3/4 stars

There are lots of H10 hotels to chose from and we picked this one as it is in a quieter neighbourhood. If you like to be closer to the action, you might try one closer to the Sagrada Familia. This one was close to the beach and the staff were very helpful with suggestions for dining, sightseeing etc.
The only downside was that they did not change the sheets during our 5 day stay, nor was there any in-room messaging system to request a sheet change. You could not take a bath as there is a water shortage (understandable!). The bathtub plug was removed for compliance!
The food in the hotel is adequate but I would suggest you eat elsewhere. The serving staff were very nice.

The hotel was well situated on the north side of Barcelona.However it is away from the main tourist areas if thats what you are looking for.It was a 15 min walk to the beach and a further 15 mins to Barceloneta.

Can’t fault the staff and cleanliness of the Hotel. Housekeeping mistakenly took my daughter’s silk pillow case cover and I was expected someone to contact me about it to see if it t had been found but I haven’t heard anymore. It seems post check out they don’t care once you’re gone.
