Nice modern hotel with a good breakfast included, adjacent to the local train station, nice views of the lake, and paid parking is convenient if you have a car.

Excellent stay

Kudos to the staff who are very accomodating and friendly! The front desk lady, who I forgot her name went above and beyond by accomodating us to check in early as we had a long flight from USA. Thank you Yarn hotel! We had a very great experience at your hotel.

Unfriendly front desk service. Not accommodating.

I recently stayed at the Yawn Hotel twice in two weeks, and while the first visit was excellent, the second was quite the opposite. **First Stay:** During our first visit, we had a wonderful experience. The rooms, though relatively small, were very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had no complaints and left feeling satisfied. **Second Stay:** However, our excitement for the second stay quickly turned to disappointment. We arrived late at night to find our room had an awful smell, reminiscent of garbage and spoiled cabbage. After struggling to reach someone for assistance, we finally spoke to a helpful lady on the phone who moved us to another room. Unfortunately, this new room also had no hot water, which was unacceptable since we needed to leave by 9 AM. We ended up leaving early due to this inconvenience. To add to our frustration, I realized I had forgotten my connector and returned to the hotel to retrieve it. To my surprise, despite not formally checking out, the staff had already started cleaning our room. I learned from a local repairman that many guests had been facing the same issue with hot water, suggesting that this is a common problem at the hotel. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort from the hotel staff to address our concerns. No one reached out to see how they could help or offered any help or efforts for the terrible experience

Very nice stuff, very helpful. location is beautiful, walking distance from the lake. train & bus stations near by. breakfast was surprisingly reach, much more than standard continental breakfast.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is one of the best Ive stayed in. Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Second to none for public transport. The bed is one of the most comfortable. But its the view that takes it all the way to the top of the list. Im regretting only staying one night to break up my journey home.

Relatively expensive and not at all flexible on check out dates - strange given it wasn’t that full. Didn’t come across as hugely customer focused - rather more on its processes

The hotel is very nice, but something is wrong with their IT system. The online check in doesn’t work properly. I had to do the check in again at the reception. There I got a key for a room which was already occupied by another guest. How unprofessional! Nice thing to know: Free parking outside from 8pm to 8am.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were also very nice and helpful, especially the lady named Hilal, she made us feel very welcomed. Area isn’t amazing as there aren’t many good places to eat around it and the town itself isn’t very lively but there is a cheap train that goes straight to Zurich which is walking distance from it

The hotel downgraded our room without any prior notice. When I spoke to reception, they simply said there was an issue and that they had tried to contact me, but didn’t have my details because I booked through Hotels com. I was very disappointed and told them that had I known, I could have made arrangements at another hotel. Their response was that I could cancel and rebook elsewhere if I was unhappy, which felt incredibly rude and unhelpful, especially since it was already too late to find another option.

Very noisy with sounds from train, autos, people dining in restaurants below, and the conference room. My wife and I had difficulty sleeping. I paid for a room with lake view but the half of the view is blocked by the train station building and trees, the the other half I can only see the lake through many electrical cables. Not worth the value we paid for.

Excellent service

We check in on Sept. 5, 2024 thru Sept. 09, 2024. The whole experience was really amazing. The Manager Hilal did a very awesome customer care. The hotel was clean and we had a great view by the lake. The breakfast and the staff was all just perfect. I will recommend Yarn to all my friends who will visit Zurich. Great in everything. 2 minutes walk to the train stations. Will sure be book again in the Yarn! Thank you again Hilal for your superb customer service.

Nice, clean and modern hotel. 2minutes walk from train station. Easy access to everywhere. Very good breakfast. The room are very clean and spotless. Close to the lake which has a good view. Happy with my stay.
