Amorn Mansion

Stayed here for 2 nights, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a big balcony. Fridge in the room and decent air con. Bathroom was a decent size too.

Good place to stay. Unfortunately arrived at 6:30 pm and nobody was at the desk until 7:45pm. After long travel day I found this strange and unacceptable. Good otherwise.

Definately an older building, not sleek or modern but for the price is was a comfortable stay, good location, cheap laundry, wifi worked well and staff were nice.

Had booked a standard room and when got to hotel was told all standard rooms were booked had to pay extra for a superior room but was a bit unsure what was superior about it. Was a cheap and nasty hotel.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. I moved out of my previous due to not having wifi in the room. Before I booked for the hotel I asked them if they have wifi in the room ... They responsed positively . I had to check in late as they didn't received any confirmation from hotel.com. As soon as I walked in the room, they room was extremely . I turned the aircon on for 10 mins no still hot. Try to log in to wifi failed . They I checked the aircon and it's not working . I went 2 times to the reception to change my room and their response was no more room available . I had to wait at the lobby for hours before they fix the aircon ( as they said but it wasn't fixed) . Great before I had hotel without aircon and then I had to stay in a room without wifi and aircon. Worst thing is when I see people coming later during the night and they told them they've room available ... Stay away from this shifty hotel. Only plus side for it is its 2-3 mins walk from the beach ... I moved to another hotel next to to it with less price, cleaner and with Seaview balcony and perfect wifi connect . Sad that hotel isn't registered with hotel.com

Location was great about two blocks from the beach and half block from touristy shopping restaurants bars and entertainment. Good exercise if you're on the 4th floor but ocean view.

Overall I had a nice stay at Amorn Mansion. It is located near the central tourist destination of Ao Nang, and it takes about five minutes to get to the beach. It is also off the main road so I didn't have noise issue. The restaurant across the hotel was one of the best I went to in the town. The building itself is old and wi-fi did not work in my room unfortunately. I was receiving signals different from what I received at the lobby though, and asked the front desk its password, which they did not know at the moment. The staff were generally helpful and attentive, and the laundry service at the front desk was convenient. As a budget hotel, I thought it offered good value for money I spent (~ $75 for two nights).

great for boat trips to the islands

Everything at this hotel was good. It's located only a couple of minutes from the beach (just outside of the main street, but still quiet enough so you don't hear the noise from the traffic and music), the staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms had enough comfort and the bed was comfortable. We had breakfast there which had several options, like eggs, toast and pancakes (the portion sizes were a bit small in most cases but tasty). The only downside was that the rooms were cleaned every other day instead of every day, but we didn't mind this too much.

The hotel location is superb. It is a 5 minute stroll to the beach and to the longtail boat booking office for onward trav el to the beautiful Railay beach area and to the close by islands. If you're travelling on a budget this hotel is a good choice. The standard room is small but it has air con, fridge, TV, and en suite toilet/shower, unfortunately there is no balcony and the room window was oddly 'tiny'. If you are happy with basic clean accommodation then this place is fine. At extra cost the hotel offers superior rooms which include a balcony, which is probably a better option. However, if you prefer luxury and a room with a view then Amorn is not for you. On the plus side,within 100 metres you're on the main road in amongst the action, bar/restaurants, massage salons, souvenir shops, excursion offices, moped hire etc. The hotel staff were friendly and always smiling which is what you like to see when you're on holiday. We are much travelled and the limestone karst scenery in the Krabi Ao Nang area is stunning. Overall, my wife and I were happy that we chose Thailand, Krabi Ao Nang, and the Amorn.

Perfect location of the main street but close to every thing.Good room size if you are like us and just use your to sleep in. One thing to note about Ao Nang is it is very hilly and every thing is on incline except the beach.

Hotel is not too far from the beach and 7-11. Best at its value.

Room is too small. Housekeeping sevice is only aviaiable every two days.

Very close to facilities (Halal restaurant, mini market), 5 min walking distance to the beach, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, overall i rated 4.5 stars =)

Budget hotel with clean and nice, helpful staffs, few minutes walk to the beach. Unfortunately, only stayed one night, I will be back next year.

It was a good location close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It had wifi, clean, updated, fridge, and AC. Good value for the money.

A great location within easy walk of shopping, eating, beach and boat departure point for Railay beach. Room was basic but clean and comfortable with a decent bathroom, aircon and a fridge. The ladies at reception were always friendly and ready to help with day trips, laundry, onward travel plans or anything you ask. All in all a good value place to stay in Ao Nang.
