Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Vernal near Dinosaur Monument

This was a convenient location, clean room, and kids loved the pool. The pull-out bed in the couch (which we needed because there were 6 of us) left something to be desired, but overall the experience was great and we were very pleased!

Unfortunately they were repaving the parking lot when we arrived. No one told us it would be for all 4 days we were there or even acknowledged it. We could not park in the parking lot the entire time. Paving woke us up every morning and went on until dark. Our room was stifling because the AC unit is hidden behind a closet and we had to ask for a fan to move air. We couldnt open the window because of paving and other guests. There was a designated smoking area w chairs set up right outside our room and every night there was a loud group of men drinking and smoking fir hours. Why in the world do they not designate an area away from guest rooms?? Our room smelled like smoke too. The room definitely needs a deep clean and time to toss out some of the stained towels. Maybe paving indicates theyre going to give some attention to those things. But I'm disabled and having to park a block away way very inconvenient.

I ended up getting a third room in addition to the two I had booked. That room was nice. The two I originally booked were not. They did upgrade my daughter’s room because her door didn’t lock. That was also nice. Mine however looked nothing like the pictures. There were stains all over the carpet and dust built up on the baseboards. I paid for this trip and ended up in one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I have pictures and a video of the room. I’m not sure if I can trust Expedia and the pictures of the properties after this. I know for sure I will never stay at this place again and will tell everyone I know to steer clear. The pool was nice and so were the upgraded room and the more expensive one. But for me, this dump of a room really put a damper on the family trip I planned. I am glad my family didn’t have to stay in a room like mine, but it still sucked for me!

Our room was comfy and quiet. The best was amazing. The staff was wonderful too. We will definitely rebook here if/when we go back to vernal again.

Check in was chaotic, the place was unorganized, the staff was rude.

I paid for my stay and then they refunded me two weeks later then re charged me again 4 times 3 weeks later

It was a good place to stay for my family while we went to Dinosaur National Monument.

Sheets did fit the new mattress. It was like a full mattress sheet on a queen bed. Not enough parking. The toilet took 30+ minutes to fill after a flush. It looked like they were remodeling after the name change and instead of shutting down rooms and finishing the room completely they just cleaned up there mess and rented the room.

Awesome friendly staff clean and comfortable rooms convenient location. Outdoor pool.

Our room had nasty stains on the floor. The vents clearly were never cleaned, and were falling off. One of them had duct tape to try to keep it from falling. there were stains all over the bedding. The lady at the front desk was friendly, untill i asked for new sheets which after she came off annoyed and bothered. The photos are very deceiving, the rooms are nothing like the photos and the pool was clearly not maintained the cement was breaking. It was a let down. I understand buildings get old but it felt like there were no standards.

Older hotel in need of some TLC. There were significant water stains in bathroom ceiling.

Location was perfect for our baseball tournament. Jamie at the front desk went above and beyond before and during our stay making sure everything was ready for us and assisting with extra bedding, towels, etc throughout the stay.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel but very comfortable.

Great location in town and a short drive to Dinosaur National Monument. The pillows and bed were very comfortable.

Found fake eyelashes in the bed, generally seemed poorly cleaned, especially around the beds.

The space is large and has potential but…. The carpets were so stained and filthy as were the couch and chairs Investing in a good carpet cleaner would do them wonders. It made us wonder if the sheets were even clean.

Dated but spacious, friendly staff, clean.
