Super 8 by Wyndham Columbia

The beds were horrible, the bathroom was gross. This was only room available supposedly and smelled like an ashtray. Requested non smoking. Phone in room didnt work. Took 4 attempts for office to answer call for wifi code. Breakdast was a joke. Eggo waffles, no fruit, completely out of biscuit and gravy before 745 am. Will never stay again and cant believe Wyndham has its name attached to this horrible place.

I love everything very good staff and rooms.

Restaurants and other amenities were close by. Also ease of returning back to interstate was great.

Party of 4 couples all booked this place as our layover for one night. Rooms were a disgrace. Two rooms particularly located on the ground level (room #114) at the end looked like it had not been in use for decades. Dark, musty, water on floor in bathroom, unable to determine origin and filth in sink. Wouldn`t even consider sitting on the bed much less sleep in it. Turned in the keys and never looked back even though the staff member offered another room. My husband and I had seen enough! I suggest a Health Dept. visit is definitely in order.

Our room was old looking and dirty Bad smell, carpet had red stains Bathroom was in poor condition Shower head leaked everywhere,walls and door We’re beat up Overall a flea bag motel But the staff was all ways very helpful with everything

The place had roaches and for the five days absolutely no cleaning or changing of the bed linens or towels, only empty the garbage. Even the non smoking rooms had smoking odour and an unpleasant smell.

Non smoking room had previous smokers in it, rug was stained, sink was dirty

We booked 3 rooms for our large family that had a dog. One room was decent that was closer to main lobby but the other 2 were at the very end corner as the pet friendly room was the very last room. These 2 were dirty and musty smelling. The “pet” (without carpet) had dirt, leaf chunks and other small debris bits in the foot area between the top/bottom sheets. We were a late check-in just crawling in to bed to sleep and didn’t notice this until the morning. We took pictures but front desk wouldn’t offer any compensation since we didn’t tell him upon arrival and then he would have offered in clean sheets for us to change to bedding ourselves!

Bad wifi

I got a room with a broken, dirty toilet, but the front staff refused to offer me a different room. The room had a strong smoke smell. Although, the front desk staff was not helpful, I was able to talk to the owner. The owner was able to give me a different room.

Cheapest Place in Town…

The room was clean, nice quality bed, friendly employees.

I had a hard time staying there. The room was not cleaned properly, including an opened can of stew on the floor. I can see light through the bottom of the outside door. I checked the bed for bedbugs and slept with the lights on. Also, they overcharged me for my dog. It was supposed to be $15 and I had a $60 charge in my credit card. Never again!!!

Upon check in the front desk guy was very polite. A lady came in and asked for rates and he let her know that there were no rooms available. Entering our room there was a horrific marijuana smell. We were all so tired we just went to bed. In the morning we noticed the room was filthy - stained carpets - stained bed clothes- the walls were dirty the doors were dirty. we left for the day (Military family day) came back and the ONLY thing the maid had done was leave 2 fresh towels and washcloths. - I had to clean the sink, shower and toilet- and we still stood on a towel in the shower! day 2 upon getting ready to leave for Military graduation - seen to cockroaches crawling up the wall - smashed them and left them on the wall - left for the day - came back in the afternoon and noticed the maid cleaning 3 rooms from ours - left again so that our room could get cleaned. Came back at 7pm and the ONLY thing again that was done by the maid was 2 fresh towels and washcloths. the ROACHES were still on the walls that we smashed. . We did pack up and leave and I did request a refund since we had to stay somewhere else that night. I did get my refund however when I called back to talk to the manager he was kind of rude but did say he refunded my money. He also stated that he was going to have a staff meeting with the maids so hopefully they will have better service in the future and I KNOW You get what you pay for but that was ridiculous
