2 Stars Hotels in Hau Thao Township, Sa Pa

The Eco Lodge is quite nice although the surrounding area is highly polluted with plastic. There are plastic everywhere, in the River, in the roads, in the mountains and in the waterfall. It would be nice to see some money going toward conservation of the nature. We also got ripped off badly when we booked a taxi twice from the Eco Lodge. Taxi driver told us, it's 550k back to Lao Cai but the Lodge charged us 900k, this type of bullshit. The positives are that the customer service manager, Mr Otto is the best host I've ever met in my entire life and he made us really enjoy our stay. He's friendly and warm and he really knows how to entertain and make people feel at home. I honestly hope he reads this post as he made myself and my wife and our kids really enjoy our holiday. I hope things improve at the Eco Lodge and if it does I will return.
