Scarlet Pearl Cruises

The Scarlet Cruise was an outstanding experience. The hospitality we felt was unrivaled. This journey through the bay will always be one of the fondest memories I have. Thanks to all the staff for their remarkable efforts to make us want to come back!

The Scarlet Pearl Cruise team were wonderful. The boat and food were excellent and family friendly as you explore the beautiful Ha Long Bay Area.

This is a Halong bay cruise. Great views, friendly accomodating staff. One down side is the lack of internet service which was. On existant, and phone data very slow. Halong is beautiful though.

I would hoping more activities and more dining options

The whole trip was great experience for a two night package to see Ha Long Bay. The Cruise ship was well appointed and a great base to see the UNECO Heritage site. A few small concerns: the beaches we visited had a lot of rubbish, all boats/ships should invite customers to pick-up the rubbish to help preserve this special environment. Also the ship should have videos and other media which better present the site and environmental goals etc., as this was poring covered by staff.

We were a little apprehensive about booking our bucket list Ha Long Bay cruise with Scarlet Pearl after reading mixed reviews in various platforms but we went ahead with it and went with no expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised. The pick from our hotel in Hanoi was on time and in a luxury van which was very comfortable. We did stop at a pearl store on the way but there was zero pressure to buy anything. Check in was smooth and so was the transportation to the boat itself. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome. The boat looked very classy and the staff very friendly. We were celebrating our wedding announcement and they went out of the way to make us feel special. Wendy is an excellent cruise manager. Her entire crew is super friendly and helpful. Very attentive to the passengers’ needs at all times. Food on the cruise is excellent and so are the drinks. They are very reasonably priced considering this is a cruise ship. Excursions are all well planned and excellent. Chris, the assistant manager is very knowledgeable and is very involved. We also took a private sunset cruise with another couple and that is just fantastic. Tony accompanied us on this cruise and showed off his smart phone camera skills by taking amazing photos. I can go on and on but this should give you an idea. I don’t understand the negative reviews. There is nothing negative about this cruise. All positive. Special shout out to Wendy, Chris, Jessica, James and Tony. Amazing people.

This 2 night cruise was the finale to our 28 day visit to Vietnam and it was perfect!

We really enjoyed our 1-night stay on the Scarlet Pearl. Beautiful ship, the food was excellent and the staff were great as well!

The ship was in really good shape but the staff were just amazing. I do suggest taking the two night cruise like we did. With one night they would be too fast to do everything that we did.

What a wonderful way to see Halong Bay. This boat was head and shoulders better than any other boat we saw in the bay. Felt very special

If you are gluten free or celiac, don’t come on this cruise because your breakfast options consist of fruit only and coffee or tea. If you like to have a cup of tea or coffee after your meal, don’t come either because you have to pay for everything on board. They even happily will tell you water is complimentary! It is definitely not 5 star; the ship is worn and has lots of unsightly patch up jobs. The staff are gorgeous and make the trip. For the money, it really was very over priced for what it was. Positives; The Halong bay environment is gorgeous of course but with many operators, I’d try another organisation. Dinner was delicious.

The crew was just amazing. All the staff went over my expectations and usually my expectations are high. They made sure my teenager had fun. All the time, I felt that the staff was one step forward of my needs. Highly recommended !!

DON’T BOOK SILVER ROOM and don’t get room 109. The view from the balcony is litteraly a wall! Horrible stay and they did noting to help us… won’t recommend this cruise.

Wendy is a fantastic tour Director. All the staff were fantastic, food was great, The boat itself was outstanding. We had the VIP suite and it was unbelievable! Privacy to die for. In our opinion well worth the extra money. Our friends had a regular room and it was very nice.

Great 2 day/1 night cruise. Food was excellent and staff was very attentive to everyone’s needs. They recognized a birthday in our group which was a nice touch. We highly recommend this cruise.

We had a great experience with Scarlet Pearl Cruises! We did a 3 days - 2 nights trip with round trip limousine transport from Ha Noi. The logistics were managed reasonably well considering the bewildering traffic in Ha Noi Old Quarter where we were picked up. From then on the trip was very smooth. As Scarlet Pearl Cruises guests, we were welcome to our own lounge at the port, while waiting for our speed boat with other guests. Checking in was a breeze and our luggages were taken care of by the staff, and Phong (the cruise's manager) and Anna (the lead guide) who greeted us were exceptionally charming. After a calm 30-minute boat ride, we arrived at the cruise. The staff greeted us very warmly from the deck as we boarded. We had a delicious lunch while the cruise makes its way to Lan Ha Bay. The dining room has floor to ceiling glass, and it was an unforgettable experience dining while watching the impressive limestone formations passing by.
