The whole experience is unique. We came by motorbike at the deck and the experience began on a canoe taking us around the bay to the hotel. Then the people helped you to bring your luggage up because walking with no bags on the first day was already intense for me. But then when you get there, two beautiful ladies with great smiles offer us two glasses of lemon juice, the best juice you can get. The room has the best view of the bay and sunset. Each room has a private balcony with a big comfortable sofa you can lie there the whole day. The room is beautiful and simple but amazed you with every details. The mosquito nest has a fan inside that surprise me. The staffs are all very nice and caring and smiling. The garden is beautiful and the food is delicious. We could stay here again and again.

The hotel's vicinity is quiet, perfect for taking a break from all the stressors of city life, away from noise, water and air-polluted places such as Metro Manila. The hotel staffs are friendly and very accommodating. I didn't like my room in the pictures displayed online but I fell in love with its simplicity and relaxing, inviting feel once I stepped into it and lied down in my bed, my eyes fixed onto the thatched high ceilings(it was high enough; it could accommodate a second story). And with the help of the chirping birds outside, soft breeze, and the soothing sound of the sea, I was immediately lulled to sleep. You are not allowed to play music on your speaker phone, as per the hotel. This is to keep the serenity of the place and allow the guests to enjoy the sound of nature. Nowhere to party at night, but seriously, if you want to party, just go to Boracay. This place is for the ones who like peace and quiet. The place is very romantic by itself; I fell in love with just everything about it especially at night that if I had a bf, I would feel as if I was being unfaithful because of how deeply I adored the place. I had the chance to speak briefly with the manager of the property—he was decent, however I didn't think he spoke to me in a polite manner. Maybe he had been polite but I didn't feel that as a guest, I was welcome, appreciated, or special. Though, it didn't really affect my over-all experience. It is also possible that I just misinterpreted the way he spoke. But in my personal opinion, he doesn't seem very friendly or accommodating. It's worth noting that there's no real beach in the island or at least the kind of beach I have in mind. There's one they call South Beach which is a good 10-15min walk from the resort and you would have to pass through the woods to get there. When I went to that remote area, I was the only person on the beach. It's about less than a kilometer stretch of off white sand beach, overlooking the twin island I'd been hearing about from the staffs. The South beach is a lot better at high tide, because the sea extends to the sandy beach. At low tide, the water only reaches up to the area of sea grass which makes the water look dark, and I'm not really comfortable swimming in murky waters or the feel of grass when I stepped on them underwater. You also won't want to swim in the South beach until late in the afternoon as it would be difficult to follow the trail in the woods back to the resort when the sun starts to set. The lack of an ideal beach spot isn't really a turn off for me as you could visit the other islands and go swimming there. Palawan has a lot to offer, you just need a boat! Besides, the front of the hotel, by the pier, is a really good diving and snorkeling spot.

It was the perfect getaway that we were looking for! The location itself is accessible - it's along the Coron-Busuanga Road. It's 26 km away from Coron town proper, in Bgy Sagrada. It's perfect when you're looking for a getaway from the busy life. To get there, you can either take the public blue-coloured bus or the commuter vans which you can find at the transport terminal near Coron plaza. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bike. Having a bike gives you freedom and accessibility to explore places nearby. Sightseeing on a motorbike gives a different flavor to the experience. Everyone at Bella Louise was very polite, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They easily welcome you to their quiet and charming house overlooking the bay. The rooms are simple and depending on availability; you can either get one with a fan or AC, or one with a private bath or use the common one. The place is kept clean and neat as well. They help arrange your private boat trips and can prepare your packed lunch too. The boats are big and well kept and the boatmen take good care of their guests. Food at Bella Louise is value for money. It's delicious home cooking served generously. Brewed coffee was perfect for us too! All in all, we would have wanted to stay longer. Now we know of a good place to hideaway. We look forward to coming back. 😊
