Located in Oriental Mindoro, Puerto Galera boasts what was once dubbed “one of the most beautiful bays in the world”. But before birthing its Boracay-level party scene, it already welcomed travelers from all over the world. Back in the 1500s its port was one of the busiest. Today, people make the trip to witness amazing beaches and underwater terrain that’s bursting with life.
On your trip to the island you’ll meet wonderful locals and travelers from far flung countries who decided to call it home for reasons you’ll find out for yourself. Often listed as one of the top diving sites in the country, Puerto Galera is quite literally far more than what it offers on the surface. But diver or not, your first trip to the island most definitely won’t be your last.
Any beach trip is not complete with the whole gang, which means you need as much space as you can get. While booking different rooms is always an option, it’s no fun having to stay in separate places. That’s why Puerto Galera villas are always the better option. By booking a villa you can fit the entire group without feeling cramped. Just as much as you’ll have common areas for hanging out and lounging around, villas are also designed to have enough private space where you can relax. Standard villas would typically come with separate living areas, multiple bedrooms, and a kitchen where you have the option to prepare your own meals.
