The name Tokyo is incomplete if you don't go to Tokyo Tower. I have often seen it in Japanese films, finally being able to come here directly, my dream has come true. The view is nice and not too busy, mostly tourists rather than local people, maybe because it's a more attractive spot for tourists. There is a shop that also sells cute souvenirs, you can make souvenirs for friends or family at home.

Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Tokyo Tower quickly became a symbol of Japan’s post-war rebirth and its journey toward modernisation. Today, it is celebrated not only for its distinctive red and white silhouette but also as a cultural hub that offers a unique perspective of the city.

With the entrance fee starting from ₱460.41 in Traveloka, Tokyo Tower Observatory tickets offer panoramic views of Tokyo's sprawling skyline, from the districts of Shibuya and Shinjuku to the serene greenery of Tokyo Bay, making it a must-visit for tourists looking to experience the heart of Japan’s capital.

These extended hours provide visitors from around the world ample time to explore the tower's two main observation decks: the Main Deck at 150 metres and the Top Deck at 250 metres.

What is Special about Tokyo Tower Observatory?

By securing your Tokyo Tower Observatory tickets, you can enjoy many exciting activities and experiences that make it much more than just an observation deck:

1. Spectacular Panoramic Views

The observatory provides stunning 360-degree views of Tokyo, allowing visitors to see famous landmarks such as Mount Fuji, the Tokyo Skytree, and the Imperial Palace on clear days. The city transforms into a sea of lights at night, providing a mesmerising view that captivates all who visit.

3. Interactive Digital Displays

The Tokyo Tower Observatory tickets also give visitors a modern digital experience: equipped with digital touch panels that provide information about the sights visible from the deck. These interactive displays enhance the viewing experience, offering insights into the city’s landmarks and history.

4. Tokyo Tower Top Deck Tour

The Top Deck Tour is a guided experience that offers exclusive access to the highest point of the tower. The tour includes a futuristic, elevator ride with special lighting effects, offering a unique introduction to Tokyo’s skyline.

This is what makes the attraction truly special: The special observation deck, which stands 250 meters above sea level and guess what? It took almost 2 years for renovation from October 2016 to March 2018, making sure the experience is perfectly elevated.

The Top Deck Tour provides a sense of floating in the sky while listening to the explanations of the panoramas on your voice guide unit. It is such a unique way of learning about Tokyo, at the top of Tokyo itself!

5. Photo Opportunities

Tokyo Tower Observatory offers multiple themed photo spots, where you can capture your visit against the stunning backdrop of the Tokyo skyline or with creative digital effects. Professional photographers are also on hand to help you commemorate your visit.
