By Plane

  • From Manila, there are many flights to Cebu City daily. There are direct domestic and international flights to Mactan International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City. Once you arrive at the airport, you can get a taxi going to the city center. Going to Cebu by plane is the swiftest and most convenient way to travel.

By Sea

  • If you’re coming from nearby islands like Southern Luzon, you can take a RoRo or other commercial ferries to Cebu City’s domestic port.

By Land

  • Traveling by land is also possible. If you’re coming from Metro Manila, you’ll be riding a RoRo bus to Matnog Ferry Terminal. The bus will then ride a RoRo going to Cebu City.

    The Philippines is a tropical country, so the climate is only determined by the sunny and rainy season. The best time to go to Cebu City is from November to February. It’s usually sunny in the morning and cool at night. Take note that Cebu’s Sinulog Festival is in January. It’s one of the biggest festivals in the Philippines wherein hundreds of tourists and devotees of the Santo Niño visit the city. It will be crowded but it’s one of the events that every tourist should experience at least once in a lifetime.
