When going to El Nido, Palawan, the most convenient way to travel is via plane. It takes about an hour or so to arrive at Puerto Princesa International Airport, Palawan from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. Puerto Princesa is the capital city of Palawan, and from there you need to ride a van going to El Nido. El Nido is located in the northern part of the island and it takes about 4.5 to 6 hours by land. Renting a car or riding a bus is also an alternative. But renting a car is expensive and riding a bus will take you longer to arrive at El Nido. You’ll be alighting at the El Nido bus terminal and from there, you can take a tricycle that’ll take you to the town proper or your hotel.
