Puerto Princesa is the capital city of Palawan, and from there you need to ride a van going to El Nido. El Nido is located in the northern part of the island and it takes about 4.5 to 6 hours by land. Renting a car or riding a bus is also an alternative. But renting a car is expensive and riding a bus will take you longer to arrive at El Nido. You’ll be alighting at the El Nido bus terminal and from there, you can take a tricycle that’ll take you to the town proper or your hotel.
