Singapore's high travel season is from November to early January, and June and July. Crowds may be thicker because of holiday spenders, winter travelers, and holiday festivals. The low season is from August to October. January is usually the wettest and windiest time of the year, so make sure you have raincoats, jackets, and umbrellas if you choose to travel during this month.

  • Bring a refillable water bottle when you're out and about. Singapore's tap water is safe to drink, so you can easily refill your bottle once you run out.
  • Pack lightweight clothes. Singapore is hot and humid all year-round. But rain showers may occur anytime, so you should have an umbrella in handy.
  • The standard electrical current used in Singapore is 220-240 volts AC. You can use power plugs with three square prongs. If the charger of your gadgets requires a different plug, you can bring an adapter to be sure.
