- Taihong Tea Culture Center -

The Taiwan Black Tea Company in Kansai, Hsinchu, formerly known as "Taiwan Black Tea Co., Ltd.", was founded in 1937 during the Japanese colonial era and is one of the oldest tea factories in Taiwan. The tea factory building retains the half-timber and half-brick red brick factory building during the Japanese colonial era, and it has also been registered as a historical building by the Hsinchu County Government. In the factory building, there are still red bricks, tiles and wooden roof beams with kiln seals from the Japanese colonial era, transporting visitors back in time. Taiwan Black Tea Company's steamed green tea is the best in Taiwan in terms of pink colour and quality. It is also currently the only company in Taiwan that produces crushed steamed green tea for export and supplies domestically ground green tea powder.
