Chidorigafuchi is a 700 m promenade on the edge of the Chidorigafuchi trench. The Promenade is on the Yasukuni Street side, starting from the entrance of the Chidorigafuchi Heroes' Cemetery to the Kudan Kōjimachi Fire Station. Chidorigafuchi is known as one of the popular places to see sakura in Tokyo. When the sakura blooms, more than one million visitors will visit to enjoy the beautiful view. During the sakura season, cherry trees in this place are also illuminated with lights at night. Visitors can also rent a boat to cruise the trenches.
