Heroes Monument is a statue built to commemorate the Battle of Surabaya on 10 November 1945. This monument is decorated with "Trident" carvings underneath as a symbol of the struggle. Located on Jalan Pahlawan, this monument was inaugurated by President Ir. Soekarno on November 10, 1952 and has a museum in the underground containing objects related to the services of the heroes along with documentations of the Heroes Monument’s construction.
