4. Immersive Fort Tokyo

Immersive Fort Tokyo is set to open in March 2024 in Tokyo’s Odaiba district. It is promised to be a game-changer in the theme park landscapes. 6. Major Renewal in Snoopy Museum

A museum dedicated to the beloved beagle Snoopy and the Peanuts comic strip, which is actually a temporary museum, has been reopened in a larger location at Minami-Machida Grandberry Park in Machida, Tokyo since 2019. And around February 2024, it gets a major renewal consisting of a new exterior, new exhibits, new fun and exciting spots. From getting to see the collection of the original artwork by Charles M. Schulz starts from the original Peanuts comic strips, illustration and sketches, An interactive display such as a giant Snoopy doghouse as well as the replica of Charlie Brown’s bedroom, to a Peanuts-themed merchandise which sells a wide variety of Peanuts-themed merchandise including clothing, toys and souvenirs.

Universal Studios Japan is getting a wild new expansion with the Donkey Kong Area around spring this year of 2024..

The area is completely themed after the Donkey Kong Country games, featuring the iconic jungle environment and characters like Donkey Kong himself, Diddy Kong, and Cranky Kong. It will house a thrilling minecart rollercoaster that will take you on a journey throughout the lush jungles based on the settings on the DOnkey Kong’s games. 8. NAKED Sakura Festival 2024 at Nijo Castle

An event that will be held at Nijo Castle in Kyoto which will be held from 8th March to 7th April 2024. Even though it is named as NAKED Sakura Festival, the event does not involve nudity, it is actually a seasonal event that uses projection mapping and other digital art techniques to immerse visitors into experiencing and showcasing the beauty of the cherry blossoms at Nijo Castle.
