Flights from Manila to other parts of Egypt, such as Alexandria, will take around 19 hours to 21 hours long. Cairo is six hours behind the Philippines, thus it is best to time your travel properly.

Major airlines flying from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Cairo International Airport specifically are Gulf Air Bahrain, Thai Airways International, including Philippines Airlines.
Depending on the dates, a direct flight may cost around PHP 19,000 to PHP 27,000.
Peak season will definitely make flight prices more expensive especially those closer to major events in Cairo, such as the month of Ramadhan or Eid.

The best time to visit the city would be from November to March where during the days it is pleasantly warm, but at night it is quite cool.
At night the temperature can fall below 10°C after the sunsets. It can also reach as low as 5°C.
In April, the temperature can go up to 30°C, and it can even go up to 35°C by the time it reaches June. At night the temperature is around 20°C.

The bazaar received its name from several historic caravanserais. Caravanserai used to be a street that was filled with inns where merchants and travelers would rest and recover from their trip.
The souq is like a maze of small alleyways turned into a shopping district in AD 1400. It is now the home for many Egyptian artisans and local merchants that produces traditional crafts and souvenirs.

Muizz Street is one of the places in Khan el-Khalili where examples of medieval Islamic architecture can be seen.
Khan el-Khalili is also located close to Al-Hussein Mosque, Wekalet El Ghouri and Al-Azhar market, making the whole place seem like medieval Cairo.

The Museum of Islamic Art have one of the most important collections of Middle Eastern artistry in the world and showcase the richness of Islamic heritage.
There are up to 4,500 artefacts that can be found there and up to 100,000 objects.
The museum is located at the edge of the Islamic Cairo district. From Bab Zuweila, visitors are able to get to the museum on foot.
