Now on its 7th year, Color Manila has been organizing colorful concept fun runs with innovative twists. The festival encourages both runners and non-runners to go at their own pace and experience the excitement and fun in running. Capping each fun run is the much-awaited color festival wherein you’ll be showered with an explosion of colored powders while partying to the grooviest beats. Interestingly, the shower of colors was inspired by India’s Holi Festival.

Aside from the obstacle-filled CM Challenge race, other running events throughout the year include Classic Color Manila Run, Color Manila Blacklight Run, Color Manila Glitter Run, and Color Manila Costume Run. Each run celebrates camaraderie and fitness.

CM Challenge Manila will take place at SM by the Bay, Mall of Asia Complex on August 18, 2019.

CM Challenge Manila 2019 is a perfect blend of fun-run and obstacle course run. The runners or “Challengers” will conquer barriers and hurdles such as an inflatable slide, inflatable tire skip, military crawl obstacles to name a few.

Some of the advanced obstacles included are in coordination with the Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF). POSF is the country’s only legitimate and governing sports association for Obstacle Sports and Obstacle Course Racing, so you’re sure to have a unique and safe fun run.

Challengers should be aged 18 years old and above to join. Kids 8 and above need a guardian present for safety purposes. There are several hydration stations in every race category and food and drinks concessionaires are available at the event. But you can also bring your food and drinks. Just be mindful about your trash. In case of emergency, there is a medic booth and security personnel in the event. If you have asthma or other breathing problems, it’s best to consult with a doctor first with regard to powder or strenuous physical activity.

Challengers of CM Challenge can choose among the race distances of 3K, 5K, or 10K. After choosing your preferred distance, its time to pick among the race kits of Deluxe, Trooper, and VIP and its inclusions.

No need to feel pressured though as this is not a timed event. You can still finish the obstacles even if the next waves have been released. There's also no consequence even if you don’t get to complete an obstacle. Everyone’s a winner in this run!

You can claim your kit on the event day (August 18, 2019) at SM by the Bay from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM. If you want to get your race kit in advance, you can claim it at Pretty Huge Obstacles in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
