Upon arrival, make sure that you've got your boarding pass and passport ready in hand. Turn your boarding pass over so the machine can scan the bar code printed on it. After that, scan the information page of your passport. It is the page that includes your photo and personal details. The gate will open upon accomplishing this step.
Pass through the gate and face the screen. You have to look at the camera as you press your right hand's forefinger against the scanner.
After the successful finger scanning, go through the other gate to claim your arrival sticker receipt. Affix the sticker on a blank space or page on your passport. This will serve as proof that you've completed the new arrival process.

1. Sunglasses, eyeglasses, hats, and facial masks are not allowed when entering the gates. 2. Riding a wheelchair and using an electronic gadget are also prohibited. 3. Travelers should enter the gates without a companion, even if they're kids. Using the new e-gates makes the immigration process coming into the Philippines fairly swifter compared to the previous process. It will somehow affect travelers who collect immigration stamps on their passports, though. Banner Editorial Credit: Phuong D. Nguyen / Shutterstock.comFlying to and from NAIA?
