Sometimes, there are circumstances that prevent you from traveling. Maybe the weather isn’t cooperating. Maybe plans just didn’t gel. Maybe the airline changed schedules and more.Either way, you’ll want to know if it’s possible to get a refund and how to go about it.

If you’re voluntarily cancelling a booking because you’re not happy with a new flight schedule or a replacement hotel, make sure that the flight or hotel you’ve booked is refundable. Otherwise, Traveloka will be unable to process a refund for you.

If your booking can be refunded, the refund process is pretty simple across different payment methods. Read on as we go through each and every one of them in this post:

If you paid for your booking using Coins.ph, go to the My Booking tab of the Traveloka App. Click on the voucher you want refunded then click “Manage Booking” at the bottom. There’s a tab where you can submit a request for refund. On the desktop site, you can find this by logging in to your Traveloka account, go to the My Booking tab, and then click on the voucher you want refunded.

Once you’ve submitted that, Traveloka will ask for your details on your bank account, specifically:

Account Name:

Account Number:

You’ll then get a system-generated email that will tell you that the refund will appear in 7 to 14 business days. However, it can extend to up to 30 business days - depending on the bank’s process.

However, if you did not receive your e-ticket because you missed the deadline or paid the wrong amount, you will have to directly request Dragonpay (https://www.dragonpay.ph/refund) for the refund. This may take 7 to 14 business days depending on your bank’s process.

If you used a credit card or a debit card to pay for your bookings, and you’ve submitted your request for a refund, we will credit your paid amount back to you. This takes around 30 business days, depending on the provider and bank’s process.

However, if you still haven’t received your refund after 30 business days, please contact Traveloka's customer service and send a Statement of Account as proof.

The process to refund bookings paid with GCash starts when you submit a request for refund. Once you’ve sent that, we will process the refund from our end. This will take around 30 business days to process.

After the 30th day, send an email to GCash with the following details:

GCash registered Globe / TM number:

GCash mastercard / virtual pay card number:

Transfer ref number upon making the payment:

Amount paid:

Transaction date & time:

Fill out the dispute form and wait for the amount to reflect in your GCash account.

If you can’t catch your flight or stay in the room you booked because of an emergency or a death in the family, call the Traveloka customer service hotline and they will work on getting you a refund from either the airline or the hotel. However, there is no guarantee that the refund will push through.
