For domestic flights, we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. When is the best time to buy airline tickets?

But the prices also depend on the travel demand, seasonality, and major events. You can always monitor the fare trends on Traveloka and set alerts to catch the best deals or promotions!
What is the cheapest day to fly to Bangkok?
Looking for the best deals to Bangkok? Historically, midweek flights (particularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), tend to be cheaper due to lower demand. What information do I need to know when booking a flight?
When booking a flight, every choice sets the tone for your trip. From the preferred flight route – be it direct or with layovers – to the in-flight experience – whether you opt for a standard economy seat or a luxurious first-class journey – and understanding baggage limits, there's a lot to weigh. Other considerations include travel insurance and the airline's booking policies.
How far in advance should I book an international flight?
For international flights, it’s wise to start your search about 5-6 months ahead with the optimal booking window being around 3-4 months before departure. This period often provides a balance between good fares and a reasonable choice of flight times and routes. But please note that several factors such as destination popularity, peak travel season, and regional major events can influence the timeline.

Flight from Cebu to Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city of contrasts with action at every turn. Bangkok welcomes more visitors than any other city in the world and it doesn’t take long to realize why. Marvel at the gleaming temples, catch a tuk-tuk along the bustling Chinatown or take a longtail boat through floating markets. While food is another of Bangkok’s highlight, no visit to Bangkok would be complete without a glimpse of it’s famous nightlife.

Best time to fly from Cebu to Bangkok

Although it won't make a huge difference, late November and early December may be the best time to visit Bangkok, when the city is drying out from the monsoon season and experiencing a slight cool down and the holiday crowds have yet to arrive. You will also find cheaper flight tickets and hotel deals during this period. September and October are Bangkok's (and Thailand's) rainiest months and is an off-peak season.

Main airports available in Cebu and Bangkok

Mactan - Cebu International Airport - The Mactan - Cebu International Airport is the main international airport serving Cebu, Philippines. It is located in Lapu-Lapu City on Mactan Island and serves the Central Visayas region. The airport consists of a single runway and two passenger terminals. It offers an array of interesting shops for you to shop or dine while waiting for your flights. You will be able to find various types of transportation available to and from the airport to the city centre.

Don Mueang Airport (DMK) - The Don Mueang Airport reopened in October 2012 to take the pressure off Suvarnabhumi International Airport. It will now be the main hub for budget and domestic flights including Air Asia and Nok Air. The easiest and quickest way to get there is via taxi although there is also a bus from the city centre and for transfer to Suvarnabhumi. Although this 90-year-old airport might not pretty, with recent renovations and less air traffic, travelling via Don Mueang is usually trouble-free.

The two periods from April to May and September to October are the most humid. The southwest monsoons arrive between May and October bringing unsettled and cloudy conditions. For many people, this is a welcome respite.

  • Chatuchak Market - If you like shopping you need to check this place out. If you hate shopping, you need to give this place a wide berth. With over 8000 stalls covering 27 acres of space, this is one of the largest markets in the world. Open every Saturday and Sunday it attracts nearly 200,000 visitors a day. You will find everything you could ever imagine for sale here and mostly at local prices rather than tourist prices.
  • Boat Trip along the Chao Phraya River - Some people refer to Bangkok as the 'Venice of the East' this is due to the Chai Phraya River flowing through Bangkok and all of the little canals that feed off of it. The river is the lifeblood of Bangkok and taking a boat trip down the river is fascinating as you will see high rise condominiums and fancy hotels in one part whilst you will see wooden shacks and children playing in the water in other parts.
