The weather is best at the end of October to the middle of December and at the end of January to early March. Puerto Princesa International Airport - Puerto Princesa International Airport is located in the Province of Palawan. To cater to the increasing number of passengers, a new passenger terminal complex was built an was inaugurated in 2017. It is now capable of handling 2 million passengers yearly. It operates international flights to Seoul and Taipei. Whereas, domestic flights to Cebu, Clark, Manila, Iloilo, El Nido, Busuanga, Cuyo, Sipalay, San Vicente and Taytay.
Zamboanga International Airport - Zamboanga International Airport is located at Moret Field, Barangay Canelar, Zamboanga City. It shares its runway with Edwin Andrews Air Base military jets. Zamboanga operates domestic flights to Manila, Cebu, Tawi-Tawi, Bongao, Davao City, Jolo and Cotabato City. Since Puerto Princesa International Airport does not operate flight direct to Zamboanga International Airport, tourists have to take transit flight from Puerto Princesa Airport to Cebu and take another flight to Zamboanga Airport.
Climate pattern in Puerto Princesa is not vastly different from Zamboanga City. It is because both provinces have a similar geographical structure where the sea surrounds both. Puerto Princesa recorded May as the hottest month where the temperatures range from 25 to 32 degree Celcius. Dry season and wet season in Puerto Princesa is equally divided throughout the year where the former takes place from January to April and the latter is from May to December. Similar temperatures recorded in Zamboanga which range around 22 to 32 degree Celcius. Also, the chance of precipitation in both provinces recorded October as the highest month to receive rainfall. Therefore, traveling from Puerto Princesa Palawan to Zamboanga City would not be a problem and need no preparation.
