Operated by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, this Class 2 principal airport has a 1,452 meters long runway that is made completely of concrete.   • Heritage of Cebu Monument – Located at the site in which the Plaza Parian was once located, it is built by a local artist, Eduardo Castrillo. It is opened to the public since 2000 after three years of initiating the construction with the funding sourced from the late Senator Marcelo Fernan and other private individuals and organizations. The monument serves as a representation and illustration of major historical events of Cebu that went way back from the period of Rajah Humabon. All these are captured in the various sculptures beautifully made and crafted to commemorate these events.
