Bonnet House & Gardens -The Bonnet House is named after Bonnet Lily; a type of water-lily flower. The house is located at 900 Birch Road and it happens to be a historic home in Fort Lauderdale that was registered by the U.S. National Register of Historic Places back on July 5th, 1984. A lawyer named Hugh Taylor Birch repurchased the land in 1895 and gave it to his daughter as a wedding gift which then later she deeded the house to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and until now the buildings are maintained as a historic house museum. Many visited the house to admire the architectural structures of the house and the art studio that is situated in the first building.
Hugh Taylor Birch State Park -This park is located on the East Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County and it is a Florida State Park. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is famous among its visitors for having plenty of outdoor activities accommodations that involve water and land recreations such as cycling, fishing, canoeing, hiking, wildlife trip and many more. Outdoor bars and restaurants are built on the park's outskirts, overlooking the ocean. The wildlife here is of so many species such as the eastern indigo snake, turtles, gray squirrel and more than 200 species of birds and ducks. The park is open daily from 8 AM until sundown.
