By plane

By boat/ferry

The nearest seaport is in Batangas pier. There are several shipping lines docking at the pier coming from Cebu, Bacolod, Mindoro, Romblon and more.

By land

Talisay is accessible by buses that are bound to Batangas City. The bus terminal is at Taft Avenue in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Drop off at Tanauan public market and hop onto a Talisay-bound jeepney. Another route is by riding a Nasugbu-bound bus. Ask the driver or conductor to drop you off at Talisay-bound jeepney terminal.

Getting Around

Roaming around Talisay is easy because all means of public transportation is available. You can ride a jeepney if you are  planning to go to the nearby towns of Talisay. There are also tricycles, buses, and boats if you would like to visit the majestic Taal crater. You can easily find your way  to the Taal Crater since there are locals offering a ride going there.

Laid in the beautiful town of Talisay is the historical Taal Lake. Nobody should dare miss the majestic view of the lake as well as the stunning sight of Mt. Binintian or known as the Taal Volcano.

Where to Eat

Batangas is famous for Maliputo or a big fish also known as a giant trevally. August is the Maliputo season in Talisay so it’s best to search for a restaurant that offers this dish. You can visit Taal Bistro for delightful treats that can be found only in this place such as fried Tawilis.

You can also set foot on Milan’s Native Food Restaurant. Their menu is consisted of wide variants of meats, from fish to pork. The rustic ambiance of the restaurant adds flavors to their foods and makes it even greater.

Nightlife

There’s not many places to have fun at night in Talisay, but it is best to spend the night camping by the beach and listening to the lovely noise of nature while sharing stories with your friends over a cold beer. But if you really want a place to hangout for the night, you can head on over to Tagaytay.
