Bed is comfortable and room and CR is clean. We loved the breakfast buffet because they offer a lot of choices. The food in their restaurant is delicious and is already good for sharing. My daughter really enjoyed the playground, farm animals, bonfire where you can grill marshmallows and, movie night with free popcorn. The staff are all nice and attentive to all our needs.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel location was great because it is near to a tourist spot, Tagaytay Picnic Grove. One issue we encountered was presence of insects/worms on the comfort room floors. Another issue is the loud sound of the aircon in our room.

Old building. Big space, feeling have ghosts! Lol. We asked higher floor but given L1, Lower Ground floor, service good, aircon good. No standard parking area, all sloping street, have coupons (can choose ruined project/napa/windmill) for dinner can be claimed at lunch, internet slow sometimes, we booked 2 rooms, then want to stay in one room, and we cannot ask to get the bed from other room. Breakfast food wasn't good on that time.

The property and service was pleasant and impressive. Amazing lobby, vicinty and staff. I was disappointed with the room tho, too small and not convinient for me. Also, they don't issue double key card, which becomes an inconvenience too. Maybe bigger rooms with higher rate are somewhat comftable.

About

Only an hour away from Manila is the province of Cavite, which enjoys the perks of being a peaceful area and having access to Manila’s commercial and business centers. Located on the southern shores of Manila Bay in Luzon Island, Cavite has numerous historical landmarks, beaches, hills, and mountains that await you.

Paru-Paro Festival

Cavite is one of the most industrialized and fastest growing provinces in the country. But aside from being home to top industrial and commercial companies, Cavite is widely known as the cradle of the Philippine revolution and the Historical Capital of the Philippines.

Pacific War Memorial in Corregidor Island

Travel back in time and explore famous landmarks like the Aguinaldo Shrine, Andres Bonifacio’s House, and Corregidor Island. Cavite is also famous for the cool climate and beautiful views of one of its cities, Tagaytay City.

How to Go

By plane

If you’re coming from a different country or a province from Visayas and Mindanao, the easiest transportation method would be to fly. There are no direct flights to Cavite but you can book a flight to Manila, which is only an hour or two away from the province.

By boat/ferry

Prefer something cheaper? Going to Manila by boat is also another option if you’re coming from provinces down south. Choose from ferries like 2go, Sulpicio Lines, or Negros Navigation and check out their schedule. Once you arrive in Manila, ride a taxi, a van, or a bus going to Cavite.

By land transportation

Once you’re in Manila, you can easily ride a taxi, a bus, or a van going to Cavite. A taxi will be a bit more expensive so if you want something cheaper, go for the buses or vans instead. There are several van terminals in places like Makati, Pasay, and Alabang that have routes going to Cavite. If you want to ride a bus, you can either wait for one passing along EDSA or go to the South West Integrated Provincial Transport Terminal in Coastal Mall.

Getting Around

There are many modes of transportation in Cavite that you can access but mostly you’ll be using jeepneys, buses, and tricycles. Because of the large area covered by the province, getting from one town to another usually involves riding a bus or a jeepney. Tricycles are color coded depending on the town or barangay they operate in.

Tourist Attractions

Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine

A lot of the tourist attractions in Cavite are historical sites because of the province’s huge part in the Philippine revolution. If you want to learn about our heroes and the events that took place here, it would be best to visit places like Corregidor Island, Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine, Andres Bonifacio’s House, Imus Historical Museum, Belfry of Recoletos Church, Cavite City Hall, Don Ladislao Diwa Shrine, and Imus Cathedral.

Many don’t know that there are also many beaches in Cavite’s Naic, Tanza, and Ternate areas. Some great beach resorts to check out include Boracay de Cavite Beach Resort, Caylabne Bay Resort, Marine Base Ternate Beach, and Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club.

Taal Volcano in Tagaytay

A top tourist attraction in Cavite is Tagaytay City. Known for its stunning views of Taal Lake and cool climate, many people visit the area as an easy staycation destination or to enjoy a quick cool down from the heat of Metro Manila.

Top Things to Do

Pico de Loro

Some great spas that you must try out include The Bathhouse at Qiwellness Living, Sonya’s Garden Spa, and Nurture Wellness Village. Some of these spas even have their own restaurants, which are must tries as well.

Go for a picnic with your family at Tagaytay’s picnic grove or feel like a kid again with rides at the Tagaytay Sky Ranch.

Nightlife

Unlike its neighbor Metro Manila, Cavite has fewer options when it comes to bars, pubs, and lounges. But if you look hard enough, you will find that there are actually quite a few hidden gems. • Be open to trying out hole in the wall restaurants and new food. Not only are you discovering new places to hang out and share with your friends but you’re also contributing to local businesses.
