Great place to stay. The food was good and the drinks were great. Just remember to pack your bug spray because the mosquitoes are out during dinner time.

5 stars. The experience was great! The food was great! The staff were attentive and thorough! For sure one of the best vacation experiences I’ve ever had. The sunset run punch cruise was informative. The plunge pool was very clean and so was the room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner had several options. The staff were professional and remembered us. They smiled often. The property is safe with security. The beach walk isn’t too far and there was a bar. If you book this property, considering the mosquitos, but overall 5/5. I would go back for sure!

I recently stayed at this beautiful all-inclusive hotel and overall had a good experience. The property itself is stunning, with well-maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated—truly a relaxing space to come back to after a day in the sun. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The food, while tasty, left a bit to be desired in terms of variety and availability. Portions were quite small, and the menu didn’t offer many options, especially for someone staying more than a few days. I often found myself still hungry after meals. One thing I really missed were poolside snacks—there weren’t any quick bites to grab during the day, and “tea time” was simply warm bread and cheese, which didn’t quite hit the spot. But we went to a few local spots that were incredible! Also got the floating sushi boat, which we werent happy with and they offered us a refund right away which we appreciated If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay with exceptional service and don’t mind a more limited dining experience, this could still be a great option.

Let me start by saying…this place is truly an escape. You’re tucked away from the typical tourist hotspots, yet not totally disconnected. The front desk staff are incredible and go above and beyond to help arrange taxis and drivers, making it super easy to explore the sights you want to see. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. They even let us head down for lunch before check-in so we wouldn't miss it ..such a thoughtful touch. Our room was absolutely stunning and spotless. They had a sweet "Happy Anniversary" sign stretched across the bed, which made it feel that much more special. And the pool with that view? Definitely the cherry on top. My only minor critique would be the empty fridge..it would’ve been nice to have a few refreshments stocked, especially for those moments we didn’t feel like heading to the main area for a drink. Oh, and a quick tip: if you’re someone who’s always cold like me, definitely pack some pajama pants..my cute short nightgowns just didn’t cut it! 😂 The dining experience was refreshingly unique…not your typical buffet setup. There’s a new menu every day, which keeps things exciting. I thought the seasoning in all the dishes was spot on, though I would’ve loved a bit more local flavor overall. But the day they served curry? Absolutely delivered. All in all, it was a beautiful experience.

Overall, very very nice all inclusive resort. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms- We paid extra for the bay view which is just a room on the top floor of one of the buildings and it was for sure worth it. The best was comfortable enough. Theres a smart tv in each room which while being outdated was still awesome. We had an amazing view and the patio area was great. Dining- The food was approachable for even the pickiest eaters and all of the wait staff were nice. Service is a bit slow sometimes so I just ordered two beers at a time and made it work. Traveling the Island- The escape at nonsuch was such a perfect resort for my wife and I because of how far from everything and everyone it was. It is VERY secluded and quiet. There is no night life at or close to the resort so if that’s what you’re looking for, it might not be for you. The most socializing that happens typically is at the bar after dinner which may be 3-4 couples. Now to why it’s a 4 star instead of 5. The mosquitos are terrible. Don’t leave your room unless you’re drenched head to toe in bug spray. The bar is only tended some of the times. If you sit there long enough, eventually someone will come and get you a drink. The room pool gets very dirty very fast as birds use it as a toilet. They really need cleaned daily but only get cleaned upon request. The biggest let down is they do not have hot water. The water gets semi warm typically but bath water after 20 minutes was luke warm at best.

Let’s start with the positive first. The rooms were amazing. Exactly as they look in the picture. The pool in the room was amazing and had an excellent background view. However, a couple of things were really disappointing. If you are a picky eater this is NOT the place for you. They only have 1 restaurant (even though their site says that they have 3) and the food options are really limited. They only have 3 options and some options are as simple as a “chicken wrap” for lunch. Throughout the whole meal you have to fight all the mosquitoes trying to get into your food, birds flying a couple of inches away from you (not the cute birds) and cats wondering around (even though I think they are cute it just removed elegance from the moment). The “beach” is really small body of water and nobody could go in because it was all covered with seaweed making it dark and unpleasant. We just went to sit and observe it and that was all our beach experience in that place. Lastly, you need to know you are in the middle of nowhere. No stores to walk to for food, items or anything really. So if you forgot something, or you didn’t like the menu options… it’s over.

Had a wonderful stay at Escape at Nonsuch Bay. From the start, I was warmly welcomed by reception. As an Expedia Gold member, I appreciated the money off food, drinks, and spa services. I was helped me to my room and gave a helpful tour – always around for a friendly chat or assistance. The room was exactly like the pictures: spacious, clean, comfy bed, handy kitchenette, and the private plunge pool was a dream (main reason I booked!). Housekeeping every two days kept things spotless, though the plunge pool area can attract mosquitoes and bugs – something to be aware of. The hotel grounds are lovely, and the on-site restaurant staff were incredible. Highly recommend the return shuttles to Green Island and Shirley Heights – great options since the resort is quite remote. Massages at the spa were relaxing, and the floating breakfast was a highlight – even solo, I enjoyed every bite! Downsides: food needs more variety, flavor, and larger portions. Spa prices could be more affordable, an on-site ATM would help, and some evening entertainment is definitely needed. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful resort with excellent hospitality and rooms just as advertised. Loved it and would happily return!

I did not like a lot about this property First off they put me in a room that had construction going on and it was extremely loud because they were using a jackhammer Then they told me I can’t get bottles of water I have to go fill them up at a water machine! I stayed a week and they never came to clean my room at all I just gave up asking. They don’t communicate things then act like you supposed to just know!! This resort is a straight up rip off I would never recommend it nor return not even if paid to go!! There were a few employees who tried to help but Rosie who does the massages was amazing the waiters in the restaurant were also amazing. The staff in the lobby need to be trained on proper customer service and how to tend to customers needs I wanted to tip the few employees who did right but I couldn’t even get change at the front desk.

We had a wonderful experience overall—Antigua is truly a paradise! The staff was warm and attentive, the accommodations were comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. One suggestion we’d offer to make the experience even more enjoyable would be to consider installing mosquito control measures, particularly in the outdoor dining areas. It would make al fresco meals even more pleasant. That said, we highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

The property is beautiful and the suites with private pools and nice views are definitely the highlight—we really enjoyed the room during our stay. However, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The beach was relaxing but not convenient to get to. There were only two scheduled boat rides per day, and we weren’t informed about them when we arrived. That led us to walk a long, tiring path multiple times, which was difficult especially since my daughter has a foot issue. Service was not good. Staff were not attentive, never went above and beyond, and even forgot a floating tapas and champagne service I requested for our private pool. We skipped lunch that day waiting for it, and all we got was an apology and a few small appetizers. We were also wrongly charged $90 for a taxi ride we never took and had to dispute it at checkout. The food overall was very disappointing—we skipped several meals because we didn’t like it. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, especially the tea and coffee area which was dusty with old sugar and expired teas. The bed was hard, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the comforter was too thin for how cold the AC made the room at night. The drinks at the beach were good, but there weren’t many options, and the beach had a lot of seaweed and felt isolated with nothing much to do nearby. While the property looks great, the poor service, bad food, and lack of comfort made the experience very underwhelming.

Beware: this is not an all inclusive place! Very limited food options, only 2-3 options per meal. No fruits or vegetables here. There are no amenities. It’s on the rural part of the island so there’s nothing to do around the hotel. The beach is very small and it’s a 15 minute walk up a mountain. The rooms only get cleaned every other day. When we raised this concern to management they were not helpful. With that said all the staff is very friendly. The rooms do create a romantic atmosphere.

Liked the privacy of the rooms and plunge pool. Disliked that it was away from all the main sites of the island. Perfect place for a private getaway to relax on a quiet beach. If you're looking for touring and checking out the island it will cost extra for taxi fees or a rental car.

Went here this past week for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! The staff are all welcoming, happy, and friendly. They made our stay here one to remember! We booked a few extras, so Devon from Heaven was our boat guide for three things. He was truly AMAZING and did a great job diminishing my fear of sharks lol. I have recommended to others to stay here in the future! And if you do, contact Aubrey for transportation, he’s the best of the best!

Overall 5.5/10 - we stayed 4 nights at the resort and didn’t receive housekeeping at all. Housekeeping was requested 3 times; every time they promised to send someone but didn’t. - The food options are very limited; so if you are staying more than 2 nights you will be getting bored of it. - when you come down for your meal they take awhile to sit you down due to lack of workers. - THE LOCATION of the resort is at a remote spot, it is not tourist friendly at all. - No activities to do without paying for it . Bed was extremely uncomfortable.
