It was a newly renovated room, they are still renovating the outside. Can park car and easy to call uber or head to Highett station. Clean and nice! The aircon is a new Mitsubishi with cold and warm functions. Lovely hotel!

Not happy at all with this hotel. They charged my card two days in advance of arriving despite the booking being “pay at property”. The accommodation was pretty average on top of that. Would not stay again.

The room was basic, which suited us perfectly for a one-night stay—it served its purpose as a place to sleep. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant, so can’t comment on those.
Unfortunately, I had an issue with a neighboring guest who was playing loud music and making noise at 2:30am. I ended up knocking on their door to ask them to quiet down. I mentioned it to reception upon checkout, and they looked into it—turns out the room had been completely trashed.
On a positive note, the location is excellent—right next to Southland Shopping Centre and with convenient access to public transport.

We were attending a wedding in the area so this Motel was in a convenient location. Ensuite very tiny and if we were large built people, we would have had trouble using the toilet as there was a wall 12 inches away from the toilet seat. Otherwise the place was great.

The room itself was great except the pillows had no support
Extensive renovations where underway right up to 6pm Saturday and early Sunday morning again
There were big skips outside room and bags of cement piled up on walkway
Overall noisy dusty and not relaxing at all

I understand there are renovations but it could have been done a whole lot better. Reception was stuffed into a little room. There were bags of dirty linen left lying around everywhere for people to trip on. The parking was very tight and limited. The first room was not cleaned properly, dust and mould on everything, bed not made correctly, crockery misplaced. Cobwebs handing from ceiling. We were moved into a newly renovated room. We had one knife, no plates, heaps of glasses. The tiny fridge had no ice compartment. No microwave, a toaster but no crockery or cutlery. Parts of the room were dusty. We did get a service everyday, that was nice.

Unfortunately this place was a let down from the motel we stayed in Chiltern. The room was very, very compact for two people. The room was not cleaned properly. There was construction works going on & this was not disclosed before we booked. Also payment was to be made on registration but this was not the case. Very disappointed with both the accommodation & Expedia.

Was convenient to each our son in Moorabbin. Broken door handle - we couldn’t get in when we returned at 10.45 and it was lucky that reception was still open. Lock was not fixed the next day but the day after that.

We stay here often because it’s always clean , comfortable and friendly. This time they were in a state of refurbishment and the Restaurants were closed but we found a lovely fish and chippery just around the corner. The service at the motel didn’t disappoint.

This hotel is under construction. (as of January 2025, looks like long term). Office moved to a room temporarily. Construction noise begins at 7 am. It is right on a busy road. Train nearby. Staff are friendly but the hotel is older and obviously needs an ungrade. Restaurant is closed.

Booked on the fact of the brand name always good standard in uk and abroad not here very poor room facilities closed down over Christmas which I found to be poor pool area wasn't fit for use really. The staff however were good and that at least made it bearable stayed a number of nights at other locations.
