Good quiet location and easy to get Ubers around

The unit was small but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our smoke alarm went off 3 times between 11pm and 6am. The last alarm was the longest and we thought evacuation was in order but it stopped. I called the number for the Blue Wren Lodge but could only leave a message with our issue. My disappointment was not just being woken up frighteningly in this way, but management did not have the courtesy to call and discuss this with us. Only a message was sent to us on our phone stating that the battery in the smoke alarm was low & apologized for the inconvenience. This is very poor communication and the Lodge needs to be a lot more professional in their attitude & response to customers.

Needs to be sound proof. Kitchen was fully stocked. 👌

Kitchen NOT clean, hairs in bed, the lodge had a strong odour of incense, terrible.

The kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge shared area is very well appointed and our bed was very comfortable. The shower door in room 7 doesn't slide properly and the hairdryer doesn't work. Auto hall lights activated for no reason through the night and the light was cast into our room around the door jambs. We were kept awake by a very squeaky bed in another room and late arrivals stomping through hallways and using their mobiles.

Good value for the price. Clean and tidy, has a good common area dining, kitchen, rest area. Only issue was finding the property in the dark - the sign was illuminated but hard to see/read. There checking process using text messaging and coded locks was very good.

The facilities were fantastic. I loved the coffee pods and the room was done up really nicely. Thank you.

We have stayed here before - it is perfectly situated to family we come down to see. It’s always very quiet, always clean, has everything we need for short or long term stay

Liked location, facilities, size of room Didn't like driveway, smoke alarm going off ( due to smoker?), noise of person going up to computer area on and off throughput the night- noise on steps and having light on and off woke me several times

Limited car spaces and ground scraped Underneath car. Also no instructions for ice machine

Excellent property, close drive distance to all things Newcastle. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent bed. Very quiet with dark curtains. Very very good value. Parking is close and safe. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

Shower could have had more pressure but overall I couldn’t complain. Bed was great. Served its purpose well and didn’t cost a fortune. Thanks guys.

Clean and comfortable room. Very good shared kitchen, dining and lounge area which was well equipped. Would definitely stay again.
