This is an amazing place to stay, such a wide diversity of people staying there. The facilities are perfect, nice comfortable booths to work and have some private time. Night times are quiet for a hostel, I will definitely stay here again, and super friendly staff to make your experience even more pleasurable.

The hostel was in a great location. Close to many iconic spots in the city and the staff are probably the nicest I've interacted with at any hostel with also great activities even for day stayers. Thank you Denise, Danny, Tori and all the other staff for making this a great stay!

Room was fine. Shared bathrooms were fine. Location in the middle of a major 24x7 building site was a disaster. This motel should be closed till the end of the metro project. Major noise all night. No warning.

the high ceilings and the old elevator - loved, also the room itself was clean and nice -- But -- a few hooks on the wall would make all the difference for hanging a coat or a few clothes! hooks are also cute and so easy to install - little details like this would make it feel more homey. Biggest complaint -- the all gender bathrooms never didn't smell like pee. And the girls shower the counter tops were always super wet- and the door slams - felt bad for the folks in rooms close by... again a few hooks in the bathrooms to hang things would be really helpful. The kitchen was dark -- some table lamps or other lighting would go a long way to making a nicer vibe :)

This really was a brilliant option for our MELB stay. Right in the heart of the city and a very short walk to the tennis (we were in town for the Open) our room huge, perfect for us and our adult daughter. It was clean and well maintained.

I really enjoyed my time at Bounce, staying over NYE! The hostel runs walking tours which is a great way to see the city and also meet people from the hostel. The room was super spacious with en-suite bathroom, the bathrooms on the corridor were also all fine - would only say I’d prefer paper towels rather than a shared towel for drying hands and also bath mate would be helpful to stop the floors getting so slippy! Aside from this loved my stay and the kitchen and common areas were also all good!

This was one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The place was spotless, the facilities were very good and the staff were great - especially the Kiwi lad Dan at reception. I would definitely stay here again and I'd recommend this place to other travellers. Keep up the good work troops!
