Cairns Sunland Leisure Park

Staff were extremely friendly, we checked in late and got immediate service and was shown exactly how to get to our cabin on a map. The cabin was peaceful. The space was comfortable, the doors got a little jammed here and there but truthfully, we didn’t really care. Loved it and will be coming back!

The accommodation is a home itself and very convenient 😀 the TV is way high to watch which is terrible for your neck sorry the door in the shower needs fixing asap before it hurts someone thank you

The cabin itself was very clean, with all the room amenities as advertised. The staff were friendly and checkin was prompt There was an error with the name details on the booking - was linked to a different person. This was quickly corrected and the reception staff were apologetic resolving this matter on the spot The grounds of the property itself were very run down and unkept - not at all as pictured on the website There was a gaping hole (damage) in the wall of the 2nd bedroom, and the fluorescent light blew in the toilet. I understand that these issues were not able to be fixed immediately - we were OK to use the torches on our phones for the night as we only stayed 1 evening I would likely not return here unfortunately.

The property was not maintained. Despite having paid extra for my two granddaughters. Their beds had no pillow and no sheets etc. Patrons in the next door cabin was also not impressed.

I have stayed here many times and I find it very convenient and well priced. Unfortunately, it urgently needs refurbishment.

Peaceful spacious and affordable clean room

I stay here as it is near my work. For that purpose it’s perfect. Great price point, clean, quiet (except for the birdsong) and the check-in and check out are quick and easy whatever time it is. For families there is a playground and swimming pool area that are serviceable but old and tired looking. Location to tourist attractions is about a 15 minute drive. I think this place is okay for low cost tourism but great for those looking for budget friendly accommodation
